■Locations of gauges and meters
The units of measure may differ depending on the intended destination of the vehi-
cle.
Tachometer
Displays the engine speed in revolutions per minute
Outside temperature
Displays the outside temperature within the range of -40°C (-40°F) to 60°C (140°F)

Speedometer
Displays the vehicle speed
Fuel gauge
Displays the quantity of fuel remaining in the tank
Multi-information display
Presents the driver with a variety of vehicle data ( →P. 8 6 )
Displays warning messages if a malfunction occurs ( →P.323)

■Display items
zOdometer
Displays the total distance the vehicle
has been driven.
zTrip meter A/Trip meter B
Displays the distance the vehicle has
been driven since the meter was last
reset. Trip meters A and B can be used
to record and display different distances
independently.
To reset, display the desired trip meter
and press and hold the display change
button.
■Adjusting the minute to “00”
1Press or to select of
the multi-information display.
2Press or to select “Clock
: 00”.
Press the to set the clock to the
beginning of the nearest hour.

1:00 to 1:29 → 1:001:30 to 1:59 → 2:00

Interior features
Off switch
Automatic mode switch
■Adjusting the temperature set-
ting
To adjust the temperature setting,
turn the temperature control dial
clockwise (warm) or counterclock-
wise (cool).
If “A/C” switch is not pressed, the sys-
tem will blow ambient temperature air
or heated air.
■Setting the fan speed
Operate the fan speed increases
switch to increase the fan speed
and the fan speed decreases
switch to decrease the fan speed.
Pressing the off switch to turns off
the fan.
■Change the airflow mode
Press the airflow mode control
switch.
The airflow mode changes as follows
each time the switch is pressed.

ger operates
■Switching between outside air
and recirculated air modes
z To change to recirculated air
mode, press the recirculated air
mode switch.
The indicator illuminates on the recircu-
lated air mode switch.

The indicator illuminates on the outside
air mode switch.
■Set cooling and dehumidifica-
tion function
Press the “A/C” switch.
When the function is on, the indicator
illuminates on the “A/C” switch.
■Defogging the windshield
Defoggers are used to defog the
windshield and front side windows.
Press the windshield defogger
switch.
Set the outside/recirculated air mode
switch to outside air mode if the recircu-
lated air mode is used. (It may switch
automatically.)
To defog the windshield and the side
windows quickly, turn the air flow and
temperature up.

ground. After warming up the
engine and turning it off, wait
more than 8 minutes for the oil
to drain back into the bottom of
the engine.

pull the dipstick out.
3Wipe the dipstick clean.
4Reinsert the dipstick fully.
5Holding a rag under the end,
pull the dipstick out and check
the oil level.

6Wipe the dipstick and reinsert it
fully.

If the oil level is below or near the
low level mark, add engine oil of the
same type as that already in the
engine.
1Remove the oil filler cap by turn-
ing it counterclockwise.
2Add engine oil slowly, checking
the dipstick.
3Install the oil filler cap by turning
it clockwise.

bottle.
4 Remove the valve cap from the
valve of the punctured tire.
5 Extend the hose. Remove the
air release cap from the hose.
You will use the air release cap again.
Therefore keep it in a safe place.
6 Connect the hose to the valve.
Screw the end of the hose clockwise as
far as possible.
7 Make sure that the compressor
switch is off.
