Safety is job. Vehicle and occupant safety always depends on the in­
fo rm ed and
driver.
For your safety and th e sa fe ty of yo ur pas­

- Make sure that a ll lights and signals are
ope ratin g correctly.
- Mak e sur e that the tire pressure is co r­
rect.

Proper seating position for the driver
The proper driver seating position is important for safe, relaxed driving.

back comes in full contact with it when

properly adjusted head restraint.
• Always make sur e each person in the ve­
hicle properly adjusts their head restraint.
Each head re straint mu st be adjusted ac­
cording to occupants' size so that th e upper
e d ge is as eve n with the top of the person's
h ead , but no lower than eye leve l a nd so it is as
clo se to the back of to th e head a s possible.
• Never attempt to adjust head res traint
while drivin g. If yo u have dri ven off and must
adju st the dri ver headre st for any reason, first
s top the vehicle safely before attempting to
adjust the head re straint .
