Performance Warranty claim approval
You may raise a claim under this warran ty im­
mediat ely afte r your vehicle has fail ed a Ca li­
fornia 1/M test if, as a res ult of that failure , you
a re re qui re d by law to r epair th e vehicle to avoid
imposition of a penalt y or cance llation of your
right
u se the vehi cle. You need actua lly
s uff er the loss or lose the right to use ve­
hicle or pay for the r epair before prese ntin g your
cla im.
C laim s ma y be pre sented only by bringing your
ve hicle to any authoriz ed Volkswagen dea ler in
th e Un it ed State s, incl uding it s te rritor ies, and
Ca nada. The dea le r wi ll honor or den y yo ur
claim within a reasona ble tim e, not t o exceed
thirt y (30) days, from the time at which yo ur ve­
hicl e is pres ented for repair o r w ithi n any tim e
