How does the remote key work?

A keyless drive remote key must be i\b your possessio\b.
Locking and arming the alarm
– Press the pressure-se\bsitive \oarea o\b a\by of the outside
door ha\bdles or the rubber-covered butto\b \bext to the
tru\bk ope\bi\bg co\btrol.
Unlocking and disarming the alarm
– Pull a door ha\bdle to u\block a\bd ope\b the door or
press the tru\bk ope\bi\bg co\btrol.
U\blocks the doors a\bd the tru\bk a\bd disarms the
alarm. This setti\bg ca\b be cha\bged i\b MY CAR.
Locks the doors a\bd the tru\bk a\bd arms the alarm.
Approach lighti\bg.
“Pa\bic” alarm: Press a\bd hold to sou\bd the alarm.
Tur\b off the alarm with the u\block butto\b.

How do I start/switch off the engine?
Start

Switch off
Park the vehicle a\bd briefly press the START/STOP
ENGINE butto\b to switch off the e\bgi\be.

How do I set/release the parking brake?
Setting
Press firmly o\b the brake pedal a\bd press the PUSH
LOCK/PULL RELEASE co\btrol: the symbol i\b the i\bstru-
me\bt pa\bel flashes while the parki\bg brake is bei\bg
applied a\bd glows steadily whe\b it has bee\b fully applied.
Manual release
Press firmly o\b the brake pedal.
Pull the PUSH LOCK/PULL RELEASE co\btrol.
Automatic release
Begi\b drivi\bg. The parki\bg brake will release automatically
if the driver’s seat belt is faste\bed.

How do I start the windshield wipers and rain
sensor*?01
Press the lever dow\b to start the wi\bdshield wipers or up
for the si\bgle-sweep fu\bctio\b.
Rai\b se\bsor O\b/Off.
Tur\b to adjust the rai\b se\bsor se\bsitivity or i\bterval
wiper speed.

PAP determi\bes if a parki\bg space is big e\bough for your
vehicle a\bd helps to steer it i\bto the space. The driver has
to keep track of the area arou\bd the vehicle, select gears,
regulate the vehicle’s speed a\bd apply the brakes.
Activate PAP by pressi\bg the butto\b. Speed must be
below 20 mph \f30 km/h).
Follow the i\bstructio\bs displayed i\b the i\bstrume\bt
pa\bel.
Be prepared to stop the vehicle whe\b i\bstructed to
do so.
How do I use Park Assist Pilot (PAP)*?

To lift the wipers away from the wi\bdshield, they

What does Lane Keeping Aid (LKA)* do?
If the vehicle crosses a side marker li\be or the road’s ce\b-
ter dividi\bg li\be, LKA will provide active steeri\bg assista\bce
to help steer it back i\bto the la\be.
If the vehicle crosses a side marker li\be, the driver will also
be alerted by vibratio\bs i\b the steeri\bg wheel.

How do I use the start/stop* feature?
Auto-stop: Apply the brakes u\btil the vehicle stops a\bd
keep the brake pedal depressed.
Auto-start: Release the brake pedal.

i\bdicates that the fu\bctio\b is active.

Full Auto Brake system has a feature that helps detect
pedestria\bs a\bd applies the brakes to help slow or stop
the vehicle.
This feature is desig\bed to be a suppleme\btary drivi\bg aid

How do I set the temperature?

driver a\bd passe\bger sides respectively. The selected
temperature is show\b i\b the display.
Press AUTO to automatically regulate cooli\bg, heat-
i\bg, blower speed, recirculatio\b, a\bd air distributio\b to
mai\btai\b the chose\b temperature. AUTO CLIMATE is
displayed.

How does the AUTO headlight feature work?04
With the switch i\b the AUTO positio\b:
• The headlights will switch automatically betwee\b
day time ru\b\bi\bg lights a\bd low beam headlights,
depe\bdi\bg o\b ambie\bt lighti\bg co\bditio\bs.
• High beams ca\b be used if the low beams are o\b.
• Active Be\bdi\bg lights* \fABL) switch betwee\b high

proaches or is directly ahead.

How do I operate the trip computer?

RESET resets the trip computer fu\bctio\bs or exits

Press EXIT briefly to go back i\b the me\bu system,
