Removing and installing
panels The panels shown above need to be
removed to perform some of the main-
tenance jobs described in this chapter.
Refer to this section each time a panel
needs to be removed and installed.

To remove the panel1. Slide the lock cover open, insert
the key into the lock, and then turn
it 1/4 turn clockwise.

62. Pull the rear of the panel out with
the key inserted in the lock, and
then slide the panel forward to re-
lease it in the front.To install the panel
1. Secure the front of the panel, and
then push the rear of the panel in
with the key inserted in the lock.
2. Turn the key counterclockwise to
the original position, remove it,
and then close the lock cover.

Replacing the fuses The fuse boxes are located behind
panel B. (See page 6-6 for panel re-
moval and installation procedures.)
If a fuse is blown, replace it as follows.
1. Turn the key to “OFF” and turn off
the electrical circuit in question.2. Remove the blown fuse, and then
install a new fuse of the specified
amperage.

CAUTION:_ Do not use a fuse of a higher amper-
age rating than recommended to
avoid causing extensive damage to
the electrical system and possibly a
fire. _3. Turn the key to “ON” and turn on
the electrical circuit in question to
check if the device operates.
4. If the fuse immediately blows
again, have a Yamaha dealer
check the electrical system.
