Kick down function, adapting

If the sensor for accelerator pedal position or the
Engine Control Module (ECM) is replaced on a
vehicle with automatic/variable transmission, the
kick down function must be learned by the ECM.

VAS5051 with VAG5051/1
orVAG1551 with VAG1551/3BNo DTCs in DTC memory, check DTC memory Page 01

Engine not running, ignition switched on.
- Connect VAS5051 tester or VAG1551 scan tool and select the control
module for engine electronics using "address word" 01 Page 01

Ignition must remain switched on for this.
