braking by the adaptive cru ise control system is
not enough to maintain enough distance to the
vehicle ahead .

the proper detection of other veh icles.
- The radar sensor's function and range can
be reduced by rain, snow and heavy spray.
Moving veh icles up ahead may not be
promptly detected or may not be detected
at all .
- Reflective surfaces including crash barriers
or tunnel entrances may impair the funct ion
of the radar sensor.

- You can cancel the brak ing with increasing

by swerving .

The system cannot guarantee that it will detect

sors have been d isp laced or are fa ulty. Have the
system checked by an authori zed Audi dealer or
author ized Audi Service Facility soon .

Side assist sw itches off automatically when a fac
tory-installed trailer hitch is connected to t he
e lectrical connector on the trailer. T he re is no
gua rantee the system will sw itch off when using
