tainedinthecoolant)canignite.
—Avoidshortcircuitsintheelectricalsystem.
—Neverreachintotheradiatorfan.Thefanis
temperature-controlledandcanturnon
suddenly,evenwhentheignitionisswitched
off.
—Neveropenthehoodwhenthereissteamor
coolantescapingfromtheenginecompart-
ment,becausethereisariskthatyoucould
beburned.Waituntilnosteamorcoolantis
escaping.
—Neveropenthecaponthecoolantexpan-
siontankwhentheengineiswarm.The
coolingsystemisunderpressure.
—Toprotectyourface,hands,andarmsfrom
hotsteamorcoolant,coverthecapwitha
thick clothwhenopening.
—Donotremovetheenginecoverunderany
circumstances.Thisincreasestheriskof
burns.
