trafficinthe eventofabreakdown.Intheevent
ofaflattire,parkthevehicleonalevelsurface.
Ifyouareonasteephill,beespeciallycareful.

>Switchtheemergencyflasherson.
>Havethepassengersexitthevehicle.They
shouldmovetoasafeplace,forexamplebe-
hindaguardrail.

stancesshoulditbeusedtoliftheavyvehi-

raised,whichcouldcauseanaccident.
—Supportthevehiclesecurelywithappropri-
atestandsifworkistobeperformedunder-
neaththevehicle;otherwise, thereisapo-
tentialriskforinjury.
—NeverusethejacksuppliedwithyourAudi
onanothervehicle,particularlyonaheavier
one.Thejackisonlysuitableforuseonthe

—Tohelppreventthevehiclefrommoving

— Withsteelandalloywheelrims,thewheel
boltsarecorrectlytightenedat atorqueof
100ftlbs(140Nm).
—Ifyounoticethatthewheelboltsarecorroded
anddifficulttoturnwhilechangingatire,
theyshouldbereplacedbeforeyoucheckthe
tighteningtorque.
—Replacetheflattirewithanewone andhave
itinstalledonyourvehicleassoonaspossi-
ble.Remountthewheelcover.
Untilthen,drivewithextracareandatreduced
speeds.

Therearesomerestrictionsontheuseofthecol-
lapsiblesparetire.Thecollapsiblesparetirehas
beendesignedspecificallyforyourtypeofvehi-
cle.Donotreplaceitwiththecollapsiblespare
tirefromanothertypeofvehicle.
Thecollapsiblesparetireislocatedinthelug-
gagecompartmentunderthecargofloorcover.
