hub.Removealldirtfromthesesurfacesbe-
foreremountingthe wheel.
Unidirectionaltires
Aunidirectionaltireprofileisidentifiedbyarrows
onthetiresidewallthatpointintherunningdi-
rection.Youmustalways maintainthespecified
runningdirection.Thisisnecessarytoensurethe
tire'soptimumperformanceinregardtoadhe-
sion,runningnoise,andfriction,andtoreduce
theriskofhydroplaning.
Tobenefitfullyfromtheadvantagesoftheuni-
directionaltiredesign,youshouldreplacefaulty
tiresassoonaspossibleandrestorethecorrect
runningdirectiononallofthetires.

you.
Itisbecomingincreasinglymoreandmorediffi-
culttoreplacevehiclelightbulbssinceinmany
cases,otherpartsofthecarmustfirstbere-
movedbeforeyouareabletogettothebulb.
This appliesespeciallytothelightbulbsinthe
frontofyourcarwhichyoucanonlyreach
throughtheenginecompartment.
Sheetmetalandbulbholderscanhave sharp
edgesthatcan causeseriouscuts,partsmustbe
correctlytakenapartandthenproperlyputback
togethertohelppreventbreakageofpartsand
longtermdamagefromwaterthatcanenter
housingsthathavenotbeenproperlyresealed.
Foryoursafety,werecommendthatyouhave
yourauthorizedAudidealerreplaceanybulbsfor
you,sinceyourdealerhas thepropertools,the
correctbulbsandtheexpertise.
Gasdischargelamps(Xenonlights):
Duetothehighelectricalvoltage,havethebulbs
replacedbyaqualifiedtechnician.Headlights
withXenonlightareidentifiedbythehighvolt-
agesticker.
LEDheadlights*
LEDheadlightsrequirenomaintenance.Please
contactyourauthorizedAudidealerifabulb
needstobereplaced.

nectingittothebatteryofanothervehicle.
Iftheengineshouldfailtostartbecauseofadis-
chargedorweakbattery,thebatterycanbecon-
nectedtothebatteryofanothervehicle,usinga
pairofjumpercablestostarttheengine.
Jumpercables
Useonlyjumpercablesofsufficientlylargecross
sectiontocarrythestartercurrentsafely.Refer
tothemanufacturer'sspecifications.
Useonlyjumpercableswithinsulatedterminal
clampswhicharedistinctlymarked:
plus(+)cableinmostcasescoloredred
minus(-)cableinmostcasescoloredblack.

—Neverchargeafrozenbattery.Gastrapped
intheicemaycause anexplosion.
—Neverchargeoruseabatterythathasbeen
frozen.Thebatterycasemayhave beweak-
ened.
—Useofbatteriesofdifferentvoltageorsub-
stantiallydifferentcapacity(Ah)ratingmay
causeanexplosionandinjury.Thecapacity
