Theproperfrontpassengerseatingpositionis
importantforsafe,relaxeddriving.
Foryourownsafetyandtoreducetheriskofin-
juryinthe eventofanaccident,werecommend
thatyouadjusttheseatforthefrontpassenger
tothefollowingposition:
>Adjusttheangleoftheseatbacksothatitisin
anuprightpositionandyourbackcomesinfull
contactwithitwheneverthevehicleismoving.
>Adjusttheheadrestraintsotheupperedgeis
asevenaspossiblewiththe topofyourhead.If

—Neverdrivewiththebackrestreclinedortilt-
edfarback!Thefartherthebackrestsare
tiltedback,thegreatertheriskofinjurydue

Properseatingpositionsforpassengersin
rearseats
Rearseatpassengersmustsituprightwithboth
feetonthefloorconsistentwiththeirphysical
sizeandbeproperlyrestrainedwhenevertheve-
hicleisinuse.

Toreducetheriskofinjurycausedbyanincorrect
seatingpositionintheeventofasuddenbraking
maneuveroranaccident,yourpassengersonthe
rearbenchseatmustalways observethefollow-
