thevehiclejackwithoutsecuringit.

turn.Checkfordirtandcorrosiononthe
matingsurfacesofboththewheelandthe
hub.Removealldirtfromthesesurfacesbe-
foreremountingthewheel.
Unidirectionaltires
Aunidirectionaltireprofileisidentifiedbyarrows
onthetiresidewallthatpointintherunningdi-
rection.Youmustalways maintain thespecified
runningdirection.Thisisnecessarytoensurethe
tire'soptimumperformanceinregardtoadhe-
sion,runningnoise,andfriction,andtoreduce
theriskofhydroplaning.
Tobenefitfullyfromtheadvantagesoftheuni-
directionaltiredesign,youshouldreplacefaulty
tiresassoonaspossibleandrestorethecorrect
runningdirectiononallofthetires.
>Reinstallthecapsonthewheelboltsifnecessa-
ry.
>Storethevehicletoolkitinitsdesignated
place.

90ftlbs(120Nm).

Ifyounoticethatthewheelboltsarecorroded
anddifficulttoturnwhilechangingatire,
theyshouldbereplacedbeforeyoucheckthe
tighteningtorque.
—Replacetheflattirewithanewone andhave
itinstalledonyourvehicleassoonaspossi-
ble.Remountthewheelcover.
Untilthen,drivewithextracareandatreduced
speeds.
