Malfunctions

Ifthetirepressuremonitoringsystemisnot
available,theiaindicatorlightappearsinthe
instrumentclusterdisplayalongwiththemes-
sageTirepressure:malfunction!Seeowner's
manual.
Iftheiaindicatorlightappearsafterswitching
theignitiononorwhiledrivingandthe@indi-
catorlightalsoblinksforapproximatelyonemi-
nuteandthenstayson,thereissystemmalfunc-
tion.Thefollowingareexamplesofsituations
thatcouldcauseamalfunction:
—Ifthemessageappearsattheendoftheadap-
tationphase,thesystemmaynotdetectoneor
several ofthewheelsensorsnecessaryforpres-
suremonitoring.Thismayresultfrom oneor
morewheelswithoutwheelsensorsorwithin-
compatiblewheelsensorsbeinginstalled.
—Awheelsensororanothercomponenthas
failed.
—Usingsnowchainscanaffectthefunctionof
thesystembecauseoftheshieldingeffectof
thechains.
—Thetirepressuremonitoringsystemisnot
availableduetoamalfunction.
—Transmitters withthesamefrequency,suchas
headphonesorremote-controlleddevices,may
causeatemporarysystemmalfunctiondueto
the strongelectromagneticfield.

ableagain.Ifyoucannotcorrectthemalfunction
andtheiaindicatorlightstayson,driveimme-
