Rear Wiper and Washer
Press the switch on the end of the lever to operate the rear wiper.
ON Slow Wipes

Washer Fluid
Push the lever away from you to spray washer fluid on the rear window.
Windshield Wipers and Washer
Raise or lower the lever to activate the wipers.
HI Fast Wipes
LO Slow Wipes
INT Intermittent or Rainsense™F
To adjust the delay between wipes or the Rainsense system sensitivity, rotate the band up (more frequent wipes) or down (less frequent wipes).

Pull the lever toward you to spray washer fluid on the windshield.

Press to end or decline a call. Press to mute the vehicle speakers.

Home page
The infotainment system uses a Bluetooth or USB connection to link to a compatible device, such as a smartphone or portable audio player, and offers hands-free voice control. Managing Home Page Icons
The Home page icons can be arranged in any order.
1. To enter edit mode, touch and hold the Home page icon to move.
2. Drag the icon to the desired position and release. Drag the icon to the edge of the screen to move to another page.
3. Press the Home button to exit edit mode.
Storing Favorites
Radio stations from all bands (AM, FM or SiriusXMF), media (song, artist, etc.), phone
contacts and navigation destinationsF can be stored in any order on the favorites list.
1. Display the desired radio station, media favorite, contact or destination.
2. Touch the Interaction Selector at the bottom of the screen to display the favor-ite screen buttons.
3. Touch and hold one of the favorite screen buttons until a beep is heard.
4. Repeat the steps to store another favorite item.
Note: To change the number of favorites displayed, go to Settings > Radio.
Natural Voice RecognitionF
Control the music source and make phone calls hands-free (after pairing your Bluetooth-enabled phone) using the natural voice recognition system.
1. Press the Press to Talk button on the steering wheel.
2. The radio will play a prompt followed by a beep.
3. After the beep, say what you want it to do using natural speech. Examples: "Call Dave" or "Tune 99.5 FM." Say “Help” for assistance.
AppsF
In-vehicle apps — connecting to music, news, weather, travel information, sports, entertain-ment and more — are available for download to the radio through the Apps icon on the Home page. Downloading and using the apps requires internet connectivity, and may require a data plan, accessed through the vehicle’s 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, if active, or a mobile device hotspot.

Portable Audio Devices
USB ports, an auxiliary input jack and acces-sory power outlet are located in the front storage compartment.
Connect an iPod®, iPhone®, MP3 Player, or a USB flash drive to a USB port. Search for music on-screen or by voice commands.
Touch Audio > Media to select a porta-ble device as the audio source.
Voice Pass-Thru
Voice Pass-Thru allows access to the voice recognition commands on a paired, compatible cell phone; e.g. Siri Eyes Free or Voice Command.
To activate phone voice recognition, press and hold the Press to Talk button on the steering wheel for 2 seconds.
Apple CarPlay™
Apple CarPlay capability is available through a compatible smartphone using the Projection icon on the Home page of the infotainment system. No app is required.
1. Connect your phone by plugging the Lightning cable into a USB data port. Use the factory-provided Lightning cable. Aftermarket cables may not work.
2. The Projection icon will change to Apple CarPlay. Touch the icon to have your apps displayed.
Press the Home button to exit Apple CarPlay. To return to the last page viewed in Apple CarPlay, press and hold the Home button.
Android Auto™
Android Auto capability is available through a compatible smartphone using the Projection icon on the Home page of the infotainment system.
1. Download the Android Auto app to your phone from the Google Play Store.
2. Connect your phone by plugging the phone USB cable into a USB data port. Use the factory-provided USB cable. Aftermarket cables may not work.
3. The Projection icon will change to Android Auto. Touch the icon to have your apps displayed.
Press the Home button to exit Android Auto. To return to the last page viewed in Android Auto, press and hold the Home button.

BLUETOOTH® SYSTEM
Read your Owner's Manual for important information about using the Bluetooth system while driving.
Before using a Bluetooth-enabled device in the vehicle, it must be paired with the in-vehicle Bluetooth system. The pairing process is disabled when the vehicle is moving. Not all
devices will support all functions. For more information, visit my.buick.com/how-to-support.
Pair a Phone
1. Press the Press to Talk button; after the beep, say "Pair Phone"; or use the infotain-ment screen to select the Phone icon > Phones > Pair Device.
2. Start the pairing process on the phone. From your phone’s Bluetooth settings, select the name shown on the infotainment screen.
3. Follow the pairing instructions.
4. When pairing is complete, the phone screen is displayed.
Streaming Audio
With a paired device connected via Bluetooth, select Audio > Media and then scroll to Bluetooth to stream audio from the device.

4G LTE WI-FI HOTSPOT®F
With the vehicle’s available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, up to 7 devices (smartphones, tablets and laptops) can be connected to high-speed internet. For more information on use and system limitations, visit my.buick.com/how-to-support.
To retrieve the SSID and password for the hotspot, go to Settings > Wi-Fi > Manage Wi-Fi Networks.

VEHICLE CUSTOMIZATION
Some vehicle features can be turned on/off or customized using the Settings menus and the touch screen buttons. The Settings menus may include Languages, Time and Date, Radio, Phone, Display, Vehicle and others.
1. Touch Settings on the Home page.
2. Select the desired menu item.
3. Select the desired feature and setting.
4. Press BAC K to exit each menu.See Instruments and Controls in your Owner's Manual.

REFUELING THE VEHICLE
To open the fuel door, press and release the center of the rear edge of the door. It will pop out slightly. Pull the door open.
The vehicle’s capless fuel system does not have a fuel cap. Fully insert the fuel pump
nozzle before starting to fill the tank.
Note: When using a portable gas can, insert the funnel adapter, stored under the cargo floor, into the capless fuel fill.

Remove the Shade
1. Unhook the cords (A) from the liftgate.
2. Lift the shade out of the rear hinges (B).
3. Slide the shade along the channels (C) to store it behind the rear seats.
Install the Shade
1. Insert the shade into the rear hinges.
2. Hook the cords to the liftgate.

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS
Rear Vision Camera
When the vehicle is in Reverse, a view of the area behind the vehicle displays on the
infotainment screen. Vehicle speed must be below 8 mph.
Rear Cross Traffic AlertF
When the vehicle is in Reverse, the system warns of cross traffic approaching in either
direction by displaying a red alert on the infotainment screen and sounding 3 beeps.
To turn on or off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems > Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
