Seats and Seat Controls
This section tells you about the seats -- how to adjust
them,and
also about reclining front seatbacks, and head
restraints.
Manual Seat
A CAUTION:
You can lose control of the vehicle if you try to
adjust a manual driver’s seat while the vehicle is
moving. The sudden movement could startle and
confuse you, or make you push
a pedal when
you don’t want to. Adjust the driver’s seat only
when the vehicle is not moving.
Move the lever under the front seat to unlock it. Slide
the seat
to where you want it. Then release the lever and
try
to move the seat with your body, to make sure the
seat is locked into place.

Automatic Lap-Shoulder Belt
This safety belt is called “automatic” because you don’t
have to buckI’e up when you get into your vehicle. And you
don’t have
to unbuckle when you get out.
Just get into your vehicle. Then close and lock the door.
Adjust the seat
(to see how, see “Seats” in the Index) so
you can sit up straight.

I A CAUTION:
l Tires
We don’t make tires. Your new vehicle comes with high
quality tires made by a leading tire manufacturer. These
tires are warranted by the tire manufacturers and their
warranties are delivered with every
new Buick. If your
spare tire is
a different brand than your road tires, you
will have a tire warranty folder from each of these
manufacturers.
