Portable Audio Devices
This vehicle has a 3.5 mm (1/8 in)
auxiliary input and a USB port in the
center console under the armrest
and in the center stack storage bin.
External devices such as iPods
®,
laptop computers, MP3 players, CD
changers, and USB storage devices
may be connected, depending on
the audio system.

Bluetooth®
The Bluetooth system allows users
with a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone
to make and receive hands-free
calls using the vehicle audio system
and controls.
The Bluetooth-enabled cell phone
must be paired with the in-vehicle
Bluetooth system before it can be
used in the vehicle. Not all phones
will support all functions.

Steering Wheel Controls
For vehicles with audio steering
wheel controls, some audio controls
can be adjusted at the steering
wheel.

Cruise Control
J: Press to turn the system on
and off. A white cruise control
indicator appears in the instrument
cluster when cruise is turned on.

+RES:Press the control up briefly
to resume to a previously set speed
or to increase vehicle speed if the
cruise control is already activated.
To increase speed by 1 km/h
(1 mph), press +RES up to the first
detent. To increase speed to the
next 5 km/h (5 mph) mark on the
speedometer, press +RES up to the
second detent.
SET−: Press the control down
briefly to set the speed and activate
cruise control or to decrease vehicle
speed if the cruise control is already
activated. To decrease speed by
1 km/h (1 mph), press SET− down
to the first detent. To decrease
speed to the next 5 km/h (5 mph)
mark on the speedometer, press
SET− down to the second detent.
*:Press to disengage cruise
control without erasing the set
speed from memory. See
Cruise Control on page 9‑39 or
Adaptive Cruise Control on
page 9‑42 (if equipped).
Infotainment System

Driver Information
Center (DIC)
The DIC display is in the instrument
cluster. It shows the status of many
vehicle systems.
yorz:Press to move up or
down in a list.
SorT: Press to move between
the interactive display zones in the
cluster. Press
Sto go back to the
previous menu.
SEL: Press to open a menu or
select a menu item. Press and hold
to reset values on certain screens.

To access, push on the cover and
release. There is an accessory
power outlet inside. SeePower
Outlets on page 5‑7.
If equipped, there may also be
storage behind the climate control
system. Touch the bottom of the
climate control system panel until
the door automatically starts to
open. The storage area may contain
a USB port, SD card reader and
auxiliary jack. See USB Port on
page 7‑16, SD Card Reader on
page 7‑19, and Auxiliary Jack on
page 7‑20 for the base model radio
and the infotainment manual for the

Keep the storage area closed when
not in use.
Touch the bottom of the climate
control system panel again until the
door automatically starts to close.
Glove Box
To open the glove box, lift up on the
lever. Use the key to lock and
unlock it. The glove box may have a
compact disc player inside.
Armrest Storage
Front Armrest
Push the button and lift to access
the storage area. The storage area
may contain a USB port, SD card
reader and auxiliary jack. See USB
Port on page 7‑16, SD Card Reader
on page 7‑19, and Auxiliary Jack on
page 7‑20 for the base model radio
and the infotainment manual for the
uplevel model radio.
Rear Armrest
Pull the armrest down and lift the
cover to access the storage area.

The steering wheel takes about
three minutes to be fully heated.

The compass system is designed to
operate for a certain number of
miles or degrees of turn before
needing a signal from the GPS
satellites. When the compass
display shows CAL, drive the
vehicle for a short distance in an
open area where it can receive a
GPS signal. The compass system
will automatically determine when a
GPS signal is restored and provide
a heading again. SeeCompass
Messages on page 5‑34 for the
messages that may be displayed for
the compass.
Clock (Base Radio)
Setting the Time
To set the time:
1. Select Settings from the Home Page and select Set Time.
2. Turn the MENU knob to increase or decrease the hour. 3. Press the MENU knob to go to
the next option. Press
SBACK
to go to the last menu and save
the changes.
AUTO SET
In the Set Time view, push on the
area just above the chrome bar and
below the "AUTO SET" screen
button to turn on/off the Auto Time
adjust capability.
Clock (Uplevel Radio)
The infotainment system controls
are used to access the time and
date settings through the menu
system. See “Home Page” in the
infotainment manual for information
about how to use the menu system.
Setting the Time
To set the time:
1. From the Home Page, press the SETTINGS screen button and
press Time and Date.
2. Press Set Time and press + or−to increase or decrease
hours, minutes, and AM or PM.
Press 12Hr or 24Hr for 12 or
24 hour clock.
3. Press
}to go back to the
previous menu.
To set the date:
1. Press the SETTINGS screen button and press Time and Date.
2. Press Set Date and press + or −
to increase or decrease month,
day, or year.

}to go back to the
previous menu.
