TEEN DRIVER
Teen Driver allows multiple keys to be registered for beginning
drivers. When active, the system automatically activates certain safety systems, allows setting of some features, and limits the use of others. An in-vehicle Report Card records vehicle data about driving behavior. When the vehicle is started with a registered key, a Driver Information Center message displays that Teen Driver is active.
To create a Personal Identification Number, register a key, change Teen Driver settings, or access the Report Card, go to Settings > Vehicle > Teen Driver.

The Universal Remote System on the overhead console enables your vehicle to control 3 different devices, ranging from garage doors and gates to home lighting. UNIVERSAL REMOTE SYSTEM♦
WIRELESS CHARGING♦
The wireless charging system for smartphones is located at the front of the center console. To check mobile device compatibility, visit my.cadillac.com/learn. See your phone retailer for required phone accessories or charging adapters.
1. The vehicle must be On, or Retained Accessory Power must be active.
2. Remove all objects from the charging pad.
3. Place the smartphone face up on the pad.
4. The battery charging symbol will display in green on the infotain-ment screen when the smartphone is charging. If not charging, remove the smartphone for 3 seconds and rotate it 180 degrees before placing it on the charging pad again.

VEHICLE CUSTOMIZATION
Many vehicle features can be customized using the Settings menus on the info-tainment screen. The Settings menus include System, Apps, and Vehicle.
1. Touch Settings on the Home page.
2. Select the desired menu item.
3. Select the desired feature and setting.
4. Touch Back to exit each menu.

AUTOMATIC OPERATION
Press AUTO. The system automatically controls the fan speed, air delivery, air conditioning and recirculation to reach the set temperature. If a function is manually adjusted, the auto
indicator turns off and automatic operation for that function is disabled. Functions that have not been adjusted will stay in auto mode.
SYNC TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
Press SYNC to synchronize all climate zone settings to the
driver’s
settings.
CABIN AIR CLEANING IONIZER♦
The ionizer, which removes contaminants such as pollen and dust to help clean the air inside the vehicle, turns on automatically with the climate control system. The ionizer status is shown on the
climate control display on the infotainment screen.
To turn on or off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Climate and Air Quality > Ionizer.

The climate settings can be adjusted using the climate control buttons or by selecting Climate on the Home page of the infotainment system.

Rotate the control band to activate the exterior lamps.

AUTO Automatic Light Control
Automatically activates the Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) or the headlamps and other exterior lamps depending on outside light conditions.

INTELLIBEAM SYSTEM♦
Press the button on the end of the lever with the lamp control in the AUTO or Headlamps position to turn the automatic high-beam system on or off. A green indicator displays on the instrument cluster when the system is on; a blue indicator displays when the high-beam headlamps are on.
Note: IntelliBeam activates the high-beam headlamps only when driving over 25 mph.

INT Intermittent Wipes/AUTO Rainsense™♦
Rotate the band up for more frequent wipes or down for less frequent wipes.
To turn Rainsense automatic moisture detection mode on or off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Comfort and Convenience > Rainsense Wipers.
Note: When entering an automatic car wash, turn off the Rainsense windshield wipers.

FRONT SEAT FEATURES
POWER SEAT ADJUSTMENT
A. Thigh Support Adjustment♦
Pull up and slide the lever to adjust the thigh support.
B. Seat Adjustment
Move the horizontal control to move the seat forward or rearward and to tilt♦, raise or lower the seat.
C. Seatback Recline Adjustment
Move the vertical control to recline or raise the seatback.
D. Lumbar Support Adjustment♦
Press the outer edge of the round control to adjust the position and amount of lumbar support.
Press the center control up or down to adjust the bolster support♦.
E. Front Seat Lumbar Massage♦
With the ignition On, press the button to turn the massage feature on or off.
AUTOMATIC HEATED/VENTILATED FRONT SEATS♦
When the vehicle is turned on, the heated or ventilated front seats will automatically activate based on the vehicle’s interior temperature.
To turn the automatic heated or ventilated front seats on or off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Climate and Air Quality.
SET SEAT MEMORY♦ POSITIONS
With the ignition On or in Accessory mode:
1. Adjust the driver’s seat and power out-side mirrors to the desired positions.
2. Press and release the SET button on the driver’s door. A beep will sound.
3. Immediately press and hold button 1 or 2 until two beeps sound. Use the button that matches the Driver Information Center welcome message indicating driver 1 or 2.
To store a seat position for more clearance when exiting the vehicle, repeat the steps using the Exit button.
RECALL SEAT MEMORY♦ POSITIONS
Press and hold button 1, 2 or Exit until the set position is reached.
The memory/exit positions can be programmed to be recalled automatically when the ignition is turned On/Off (for exit recall, the driver’s door must be opened).
To set the automatic recall options, go to Settings > Vehicle > Seating Position > Seat Entry Memory and Seat Exit Memory.

The traction control system limits wheelspin and the StabiliTrak stability control system assists with directional control of the vehicle in difficult driving conditions. Both systems turn on auto-matically every time the vehicle is started. Turn off traction control if the vehicle is stuck and rocking the vehicle is required.
Press the Traction Control button on the center console. The Traction Control Off light will illuminate on the instru-ment cluster. Press the button again to turn on
traction control.

TRACTION CONTROL
ELECTRONIC PRECISION SHIFT♦
The automatic transmission shift pattern is displayed on top of the shift lever. The shift lever always starts in the center position and, after shifting, returns to the center position. The selected gear posi-tion will be illuminated in red on the shift lever.
Park – Press the button (A) on top of the lever to shift into Park. To shift out of Park, press and hold the shift lock button (B) on the side of the lever while selecting the desired gear.
Reverse – Press and hold the shift lock button (B) and move the lever for-ward completely (pass the detent) to shift into Reverse.
Neutral – Move the lever forward (to the detent) to shift into Neutral.
Note: The transmission will not stay in Neutral for an extended period. It will automatically shift into Park.
Drive – Move the lever rearward to shift into Drive.
AUTOMATED CAR WASH MODE
When using an automatic car wash, there are different procedures for placing the transmission in Neutral with the engine on or off and if the driver exits the vehicle. Refer to your Owner’s Manual for\
each procedure.

TAP SHIFT MODE
With the transmission in Drive, pull back on the lever to shift to Manual mode. Press the left steering wheel paddle to downshift and the right steering wheel paddle to upshift.
To return to Drive, move the shift lever to Drive or, if equipped with Electronic Precision Shift♦, pull back on the lever again.
To engage in Temporary Tap Shift Mode, press either the left (downshift) or right (upshift) steering wheel paddle without moving the shift lever. The transmission will return to automatic shifting approximately 7–10 seconds after the last manual shift.

DRIVER MODE CONTROL
Driver Mode Control automatically adjusts the steering, powertrain, braking, engine sound and other♦ tuning in real time. Pressing the MODE button on the center console displays the mode menu on the instrument cluster and activates the next available mode.
DRIVER MODES
My Mode – Allows the engine sound, steering and braking response to be customized to your preference; go to Settings > Vehicle > My Mode.
Tour Mode – Use in nor-mal driving for balanced comfort and handling.
Sport Mode – Use where road conditions or personal preference dictate a more performance-oriented response.
Snow/Ice Mode – Use
during slippery conditions to help control wheel speed.
Track Mode♦ – Use when maximum vehicle handling is desired.
V-Mode♦ – Press the V-Mode button on the steering wheel to
activate customized settings for maximum handling; go to Settings > Vehicle > V-Mode.
The mode features vary. Not all vehicles have all features.

ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE
To apply the parking brake, press the Parking Brake switch on the left side of the instrument panel. PARK will appear on the instrument cluster when the parking brake is set.
To release the parking brake, turn on the ignition, press the brake pedal, and then press the switch.

Automatic Vehicle Hold will hold the vehicle stationary after the brake pedal has been released and until the accelerator pedal is pressed. The indicator illuminates in green on the instrument
cluster when the system is holding the vehicle.
To turn the system on or off, press the AUTO HOLD button on the center console.

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS
Safety or driver assistance features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Read your Owner’s Manual for important feature limitations and information\
.
SAFETY ALERT SEAT♦ – The driver’s seat pulses (left, right, or both sides) to alert you of the direction of potential hazards.
Audible alerts may be selected instead of seat pulsing alerts. To change the alert settings, go to Settings > Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems > Alert Type.
LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT♦ – While driving, the system displays a warning symbol on the left or right side mirror when a vehicle is detected in that side blind zone area or rapidly approaching that area. The warning symbol flashes if a turn signal is activated when a vehicle has been detected on the same side.
To turn the system on or off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems > Lane Change Alert.
FORWARD COLLISION ALERT♦ – The Vehicle Ahead Indicator on the instrument cluster is green when a vehicle is detected and is amber when following a vehicle ahead too closely. When approach-ing a vehicle directly ahead too rapidly, a red alert flashes on the windshield and the Safety Alert Seat pulses or rapid beeps sound (if selected).
Press the Collision Alert button on the steering wheel to set the alert timing to Far, Medium or Near. This is also the Adaptive Cruise Control–Advanced♦ Follow Distance Gap setting.
FOLLOWING DISTANCE INDICATOR♦ – The following distance to the vehicle ahead is indicated in seconds under the Info menu on the Driver Information Center. If no vehicle is detected ahead, dashes are displayed.
LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING♦ – The system may help you avoid collisions due to unintentional lane departures. The Lane Keep Assist Indicator is green on the instrument cluster if the system is available to assist. If the vehicle approaches a detected lane marking without using a turn signal in that direction, the system may assist by gently turning the steering wheel and displaying an amber .
If active driver steering is not detected, the amber may flash and the Safety Alert Seat may pulse or beeps may sound (if selected) on the side of the departure direction as the lane marking is crossed. The Lane Keep Assist system does not continuously steer the vehicle; the driver needs to steer and be in complete control of the vehicle.
Press the Lane Keep Assist button on the instrument panel center controls to turn the system on or off.

AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING♦ – In detected potential imminent collision situations with vehicles directly ahead, the system can provide alerts and enhance driver braking or apply the brakes, if you have not already done so, to help reduce the severity or help avoid collisions at very low speeds.
To set Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Alert♦ to Alert and Brake, Alert, or Off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems > Forward Collision System.
FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING♦ – During daytime driving, the
system detects pedestrians directly ahead up to a distance of approximately 131 ft. and displays an amber indicator on the instrument cluster. When approaching a detected pedestrian too quickly, a red alert flashes on the windshield and the Safety Alert Seat pulses or rapid beeps sound (if selected). The system may
prepare the brakes or automatically brake the vehicle, if you have not already done so.
To set to Alert and Brake, Alert, or Off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems > Front Pedestrian Detection.
REAR PEDESTRIAN ALERT♦ – During daytime driving, the system can detect pedestrians directly behind the vehicle up to a distance of 26 ft. and will display an amber indicator on the infotain-ment screen. When a pedestrian is detected close to the vehicle, the indicator flashes red and the Safety Alert Seat pulses or rapid beeps sound (if selected).
To set to Alert or Off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems > Rear Pedestrian Detection.
REVERSE AUTOMATIC BRAKING♦ – In detected potential
imminent collision situations with some objects behind your
vehicle while in Reverse, the system can provide alerts and hard emergency braking, if you have not already done so, to help reduce the severity or help avoid collisions at very low speeds.
Press the Park Assist button on the instrument panel center controls to turn Reverse Automatic Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert♦, and Park Assist♦ on or off.

FRONT AND REAR PARK ASSIST♦ – During low-speed park-ing maneuvers, the system provides “distance to closest object”
information on the Driver Information Center and the Safety Alert Seat pulses or a beep sounds (if selected). When an object is very close, the Safety Alert Seat pulses or 5 beeps sound (if selected).
Press the Park Assist button on the instrument panel
center controls to turn Park Assist, Reverse Automatic Braking♦, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert♦ on or off.
REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT♦ – When in Reverse, the system warns of cross traffic approaching in either direction by displaying a red alert on the infotain-ment screen and the left or right side of the Safety Alert Seat pulses or beeps sound (if selected).
To turn the system on or off, go to Settings > Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems > Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
HD REAR VISION CAMERA – When the vehicle is in Reverse below 8 mph, a view of the area behind the vehicle displays on the info-tainment screen.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR
The Low Tire Pressure warning light on the instrument cluster illuminates when one or more of the vehicle’s tires is
significantly underinflated. Fill the tires to the proper tire
pressures listed on the Tire and Loading Information label, located below the driver’s door latch. Current tire pressures can be viewed on the Driver Information Center.
With the ignition On or in Accessory mode, the Tire Fill Alert will provide visual and audible alerts when inflating a tire. When the recommended tire pressure is reached, the horn sounds and the turn signal changes from flashing to a solid light.

SUNROOF♦
OPEN/CLOSE THE SUNROOF
Press the TILT switch to vent the sunroof. Pull the switch to close the sunroof.
Press the SLIDE switch to express-open the sunroof. Press again to stop movement.
Pull the SLIDE switch to express-close the sunroof. Pull again to stop movement.
