Windows
The window switches on the driver
door control all windows. Each
passenger door has a switch that
controls only that window.
Press the switch to lower the
window. Pull the front of the switch
to raise it.
The driver window has an express
feature which allows the window to
be lowered or raised without holding
the switch.
The front and rear passenger
windows have express open only.See

Seat Adjustment
Seat Position
To adjust a manual seat:
1. Pull the handle at the front of the seat.
2. Slide the seat to the desired position and release the
handle. 3. Try to move the seat back and
forth to be sure it is locked in
place.

Seat Height Adjuster
Move the lever on the outboard side
of the seat up or down to manually
adjust the seat height.

Rear Heated Seats
If equipped, the rear heated seat
buttons are on the rear doors.
Press
LorMto heat the left
outboard or right outboard seat
cushion.

Head Restraint
Adjustment
Do not drive until the head restraints
for all occupants are installed and
adjusted properly. To achieve a comfortable seating
position, change the seatback
recline angle as little as necessary
while keeping the seat and the head
restraint height in the proper
position.

Front Seats
Seat Adjustment
Manual Seats
{Warning
You can lose control of the
vehicle if you try to adjust a driver
seat while the vehicle is moving.
Adjust the driver seat only when
the vehicle is not moving.
Seat Position
To adjust the seat:1. Pull the handle at the front of the seat.
2. Slide the seat to the desired position and release the
handle.
3. Try to move the seat back and forth to be sure it is locked in
place.
Seat Height Adjuster
Move the lever on the outboard side
of the seat up or down to manually
adjust the seat height.
Reclining Seatbacks
{Warning
If either seatback is not locked, it
could move forward in a sudden
stop or crash. That could cause
injury to the person sitting there.
Always push and pull on the
seatbacks to be sure they are
locked.
To recline the seatback:
1. Lift the lever.

be no more than 2.5 cm (1 in) of
movement for proper
installation.
Head Restraint Removal and
Reinstallation
The rear outboard head restraints
can be removed if they interfere with
the proper installation of the child
restraint.
To remove the head restraint:1. Partially fold the seatback forward. See Rear Seats062
for additional information.
2. Press both buttons on the head restraint posts at the same
time, and pull up on the head
restraint.
3. Store the head restraint in a secure place.
4. When the child restraint is removed, reinstall the head
restraint before the seating
position is used.
{Warning
With head restraints that are not
installed and adjusted properly,
there is a greater chance that
occupants will suffer a neck/
spinal injury in a crash. Do not
drive until the head restraints for
all occupants are installed and
adjusted properly. To reinstall the head restraint:1. Partially fold the seatback
forward. See Rear Seats062.
2. Insert the head restraint posts into the holes in the top of the
seatback. The notches on the
posts must face the driver side
of the vehicle.
3. Push the head restraint down. If necessary, press the height
adjustment release button to
further lower the head restraint.
