CAUTION: (Continued)
The shoulder belt cannot do its job
because it will not be against your body.
Instead, it will be in front of you. In a
crash, you could go into it, receiving
neck or other injuries.
The lap belt cannot do its job either.
In a crash, the belt could go up over
your abdomen. The belt forces would
be there, not at your pelvic bones. This
could cause serious internal injuries.
For proper protection when the vehicle
is in motion, have the seatback upright.
Then sit well back in the seat and wear
your safety belt properly.
Do not have a seatback reclined if your vehicle
is moving.

Rear Window Defogger
Some vehicles may have a rear window defogger.
clear as much snow from the window as possible.
The rear window defogger uses a warming grid to
remove fog or frost from the rear window and
will only work when the ignition is RUN.
The rear window defogger will turn off several
minutes after the button is pressed. If turned on
again, the defogger will run for several more
minutes before turning off. The defogger can also
be turned off by pressing the button again or
by turning off the engine.
Notice:Do not use a razor blade or sharp
object to clear the inside rear window. Do not
adhere anything to the defogger grid lines
in the rear glass. These actions may damage
the rear defogger. Repairs would not be
covered by your warranty.
Outlet Adjustment
Use the outlets located near the center and on the
sides of the instrument panel to change the
direction of airflow.
Operation Tips
