Storage Compartments
This vehicle has a cargo
management system located in the
rear of the vehicle.
To remove the cargo management
cover, seeCargo Management
System on page 4‑4.
Power Outlets
The accessory power outlets can be
used to plug in electrical equipment,
such as a cell phone or MP3 player.
The vehicle has three accessory
power outlets: in front of the
cupholders, at the rear of the
center floor console and in the rear
cargo area.
See Power Outlets on page 5‑6.
Performance and
Maintenance
Traction Control
System (TCS)
The traction control system limits
wheel spin. The system is on when
the vehicle is started.
.To turn off traction control, press
and release the TCS/StabiliTrak
button. The TCS/StabiliTrak
button has the
gsymbol and
is located on the instrument
panel.

.Press and release the TCS/
StabiliTrak button again to turn
traction control back on.

The lap-shoulder belt may lock if
you pull the belt across you very
quickly. If this happens, let the
belt go back slightly to unlock it.
Then pull the belt across you
more slowly.
If the shoulder portion of a
passenger belt is pulled out all
the way, the child restraint
locking feature may be engaged.
If this happens, let the belt go
back all the way and start again.3. Push the latch plate into thebuckle until it clicks.
When using a second row
seating position, you may need
to remove the safety belt buckle
from its storage pocket in
the seat.
4. Pull up on the latch plate to make sure it is secure. If the belt
is not long enough, see Safety
Belt Extender on page 3‑22.
Position the release button on
the buckle so that the safety belt
could be quickly unbuckled if
necessary.
5. If equipped with a shoulder belt height adjuster, move it to the
height that is right for you. See
“Shoulder Belt Height Adjuster”
later in this section for
instructions on use and
important safety information.
6. To make the lap part tight, pull
up on the shoulder belt.
It may be necessary to pull the
stitching on the safety belt
through the latch plate to fully
tighten the lap belt on smaller
occupants.

Instrument Panel Storage
There is a storage area behind the
radio. Push up on the button and
release; the door automatically
opens. There is an auxiliary power
outlet inside and if equipped a USB
port. See Power Outlets on
page 5‑6 andAuxiliary Devices on
page 7‑15.
Glove Box
The glove box is located on the
passenger side of the instrument
panel. Lift up on the lever to open it.
Front Storage
There is a storage compartment on
the driver side of the instrument
panel.

Open Storage
This vehicle may have a center
console storage that is open.
Covered Storage
This vehicle may have a center
console storage that is covered.
Slide the center console storage
cover back to access the
storage area.
Additional Storage
Features
Cargo Cover
For vehicles with a cargo cover, it
can be used to cover items in the
cargo area.
Install the Cargo Cover
1. Hold the cartridge so that thepull-out shade faces the rear of
the vehicle.
2. Align one end of the cargo cover into the trim panel.
3. Push the opposite end of thecargo cover inward and place
into the trim panel.
4. Unroll the shade toward the rear of the vehicle.

5. Insert the shade into thechannels on both sides of the
vehicle. Remove the Cargo Cover
1. Lift the shade from the channels
and carefully roll it back up.
2. Push one end of the cargo cover
inward and pull the cargo cover
toward the rear of the vehicle.
3. Properly store the cargo cover.
{WARNING
An unsecured cargo cover could
strike people in a sudden stop or
turn, or in a crash. Store the
cargo cover securely or remove it
from the vehicle.

Lashing Eyes
Four cargo lashing eyes are located
in the rear compartment of the
vehicle. The lashing eyes can be
used to secure small loads.
Cargo Management
System
This vehicle has a cargo
management system located in the
rear of the vehicle.
To remove the cargo management
cover:
1. Open the cover. It remains openwhen lifted.
2. Pull the cover up making sure to unhook the hinges at the rear of
the cover.
{CAUTION
An improperly latched and closed
cargo cover, or cargo cover left in
the open position, could be
thrown about the vehicle during a
collision or sudden maneuver.
Someone could be injured. Be
sure to return the cover to the
closed position and latch before
driving. If the cover is removed,
always store it outside of the
vehicle. When it is replaced,
always be sure that it is securely
reattached.
3. Remove the cover from the vehicle and store outside of the
vehicle.
Convenience Net
For vehicles with a convenience net,
the convenience net is used to store
small loads in the rear of the
vehicle.

Hook the loops on the convenience
net onto the hooks (1) and the
hooks on the convenience net onto
the lashing eyes (2).
The net should not be used to store
heavy loads.
Roof Rack System
{WARNING
If something is carried on top of
the vehicle that is longer or wider
than the roof rack—like paneling,
plywood, or a mattress —the
wind can catch it while the vehicle
is being driven. The item being
carried could be violently torn off,
and this could cause a collision
and damage the vehicle. Never
carry something longer or wider
than the roof rack on top of the
vehicle unless using a GM
certified accessory carrier.
This vehicle can be equipped with
roof rack crossrails. GM certified
crossrails can be purchased as an
accessory. See your dealer for
additional information.
Notice: Loading cargo on the
roof rack that weighs more than
100 kg (220 lbs) or hangs over the rear or sides of the vehicle may
damage the vehicle. Load cargo
so that it rests evenly between
the crossrails, making sure to
fasten cargo securely.
To prevent damage or loss of cargo
when driving, check to make sure
the crossrails and cargo are
securely fastened. Loading cargo on
the roof rack will make the vehicle's
center of gravity higher. Avoid high
speeds, sudden starts, sharp turns,
sudden braking, or abrupt
maneuvers; otherwise it may result
in loss of control. If driving for a long
distance, on rough roads, or at high
speeds, occasionally stop the
vehicle to make sure the cargo
remains in its place. Do not exceed
the maximum vehicle capacity when
loading the vehicle. For more
