Steering Wheel Adjustment
To adjust the steering wheel:
1. Pull the lever down.
2. Move the steering wheel up, down, forward, and backward.
3. Pull the lever up to lock the steering wheel in place.
Do not adjust the steering wheel while
driving.

Compass
The vehicle may have a compass display in
the Driver Information Center (DIC).
Setting the Compass Zone
Under certain circumstances, such as during
a long trip or moving to a new area, the
compass zone will need to be reset. If the
compass is not set to the correct zone, it
may give false readings. The compass zone
should be set to the area in which the
vehicle is currently traveling.
Use the DIC buttons to set the
compass zone:1. While the vehicle is in P (Park), press the MENU button to display the DIC menu.
2. Press and hold SET/CLR while the Set Area display is active.
3. Find the vehicle's current location andzone number on the map. Zones 1
through 15 are available.
4. Use
w xto change to the correct zone
number.
5. Press SET/CLR to confirm the setting.
The compass system is designed to operate
for a certain number of miles or degrees of
turn before needing a signal from the GPS
satellites. When the compass display shows
CAL, drive the vehicle for a short distance in
an open area where it can receive a GPS
signal. The compass system will
automatically determine when a GPS signal
is restored and provide a heading again.
Clock
Set the time and date using the
infotainment system. See "Time / Date"
under Settings 0118.
Power Outlets
Power Outlet 110/120 Volt Alternating
Current
If equipped, this power outlet is on the rear
of the center console. It can be used to plug
in electrical equipment that uses a
maximum limit of 150 watts.

exterior lamp control to
Por;to
disable this feature.
Hazard Warning Flashers
|: Press to make the front and rear turn
signal lamps flash on and off. This warns
others that you are having trouble. Press
again to turn the flashers off.
Turn and Lane-Change Signals
Move the lever all the way up or down to
signal a turn.
An arrow on the instrument cluster will
flash in the direction of the turn or lane
change.
Raise or lower the lever until the arrow
starts to flash to signal a lane change. The
turn signal flashes three times.
The lever returns to its starting position
when it is released.
If after signaling a turn or lane change the
arrow flashes rapidly or does not come on, a
signal bulb may be burned out. Replace any
burned out bulbs. If a bulb is not burned
out, check the fuse. See Fuses and Circuit
Breakers 0193.
Interior Lighting
Instrument Panel Illumination
Control
This feature adjusts the brightness of all
illuminated controls. The instrument panel
illumination control is next to the exterior
lamp control.
Push the knob in all the way until it extends
out and then turn the knob clockwise or
counterclockwise to brighten or dim the
lights. Push the knob back in when finished.
The knob is functional at night, or when the
headlamps or parking lamps are ON.

Settings
The settings menu may be organized into
three categories. Select the desired category
by touching System, Apps, or Vehicle.
To access the menus:1. Touch the Settings icon on the Home Page on the infotainment display.
2. Touch the desired category to display a list of available options.
3. Touch to select the desired feature setting.
4. Touch
9orRto turn off or on a feature.
5. Touch
zto go to the top level of the
SETTINGS menu.
The menu may contain the following:
System
The menu may contain the following:
Time / Date
Use the following features to set the clock:
.Automatic Time and Date: Touch to have
the time and date automatically set.
When this feature is off, the time and
date can be manually set.
.Set Time: Touch to manually set the time
using the controls on the infotainment
display.
.Set Date: Touch to manually set the date
using the controls on the infotainment
display.
.Use 24-hour Format: Touch to specify the
clock format shown.
Touch Off or On.
Language
This will set the display language used on
the infotainment display. Touch Language
and select the appropriate language.
Phones
Touch to connect to a different cell phone or
mobile device source, disconnect a cell
phone or media device, or delete a cell
phone or media device.
Wi-Fi Networks
This will show connected and available Wi-Fi
networks near or brought into the vehicle.
If a 4G LTE data package is not active on the
vehicle, the infotainment system can be
connected to an external protected Wi-Fi
network, such as a mobile device or home
hotspot, to utilize connected services. Wi-Fi Hotspot
Touch and the following may display:
.Wi-Fi Services: This allows devices to use
the vehicle hotspot.
Touch the controls on the infotainment
display to disable or enable.
.Wi-Fi Name: Touch to change the vehicle
Wi-Fi name.
.Wi-Fi Password: Touch to change the
vehicle Wi-Fi password.
.Connected Devices: Touch to show
connected devices.
.Share Hotspot Data: Touch Enable to
allow devices to use the vehicle hotspot
and its data or Touch Disable to allow
devices to only use the vehicle hotspot.
Display
Touch and Turn Display Off displays.
Touch to turn the display off. Touch
anywhere on the infotainment display area
or any control on the center stack again to
turn the display on.

Climate Control Systems
If equipped with these climate control
systems, the heating, cooling, and
ventilation can be controlled for the vehicle.
Climate Control System with Heater and AirConditioning
1. Temperature Control

6. Rear Window Defogger
7. Air Conditioning Temperature Control :
Turn clockwise or
counterclockwise to increase or decrease the
temperature.
A: Turn clockwise or counterclockwise to
increase or decrease the fan speed. Turning
the fan control to 0 turns the fan off. The
fan must be turned on to run the air
conditioning compressor.
Air Delivery Mode Control : Turn clockwise
or counterclockwise to change the current
airflow mode.
Select from the following air delivery
modes:
Y: Air is directed to the instrument panel
outlets.
\: Air is divided between the instrument
panel and floor outlets.
[: Air is directed to the floor outlets,
with some air directed to the rear outlets.
W: This mode clears the windows of fog
or moisture. Air is directed to the floor,
windshield, and side window outlets.
1: This mode clears the windshield of fog
or frost more quickly. Air is directed to the
windshield and side window outlets.

{Warning
Spilling coolant on hot engine parts can
burn you. Coolant contains ethylene
glycol and it will burn if the engine parts
are hot enough.
Caution
Failure to follow the specific coolant fill
procedure could cause the engine to
overheat and could cause system
damage. If coolant is not visible in the
surge tank, contact your dealer.
If no problem is found, check to see if
coolant is visible in the coolant surge tank.
If coolant is visible but the coolant level is
not at the indicated level mark, add a 50/
50 mixture of clean, drinkable water and
DEX-COOL coolant at the coolant surge tank,
but be sure the cooling system, including
the coolant surge tank pressure cap, is cool
before you do it.
1. Remove the coolant surge tank pressure cap when the cooling system, including
the coolant surge tank pressure cap and
upper radiator hose, is no longer hot.
Turn the pressure cap slowly
counterclockwise about one-quarter of a
turn. If you hear a hiss, wait for that to
stop. This will allow any pressure still
left to be vented out the discharge hose.
2. Keep turning the pressure cap slowly and remove it.
3. Fill the coolant surge tank with theproper mixture to the indicated
level mark.
4. With the coolant surge tank pressure cap off, start the engine and let it run until
you can feel the upper radiator hose
getting hot. Watch out for the engine
cooling fan.
By this time, the coolant level inside the
coolant surge tank may be lower. If the
level is lower, add more of the proper
mixture to the coolant surge tank until
the level reaches the indicated
level mark.
5. Replace the pressure cap tightly.

Headlamp
1. Open the hood. SeeHood0169.
For the driver side, remove the
windshield washer bottle filter neck by
firmly pulling it straight out.
2. Remove the headlamp bulb access cover.
3. Turn the bulb counterclockwise and pull straight back.
4. Disconnect the wiring harness connectorfrom the bulb.
5. Install the new bulb in the headlamp assembly by turning clockwise.
6. Reconnect the wiring harness connector.
7. Install the headlamp bulb access cover.
For the driver side, reinstall the
windshield washer bottle filter neck by
firmly pushing it straight into the bottle.
Ensure that the filter neck clip engages
into the underhood electrical center
retainer.
Parking Lamp
1. Open the hood. See Hood0169.
2. Remove the headlamp bulb access cover.

3. Remove the bulb from the bulb socketby pulling it straight out.
4. Install the new bulb in the bulb socket.
5. Install the bulb socket into the headlamp assembly by turning clockwise.
6. Install the headlamp bulb access cover.
Turn Signal Lamp
1. Open the hood. See Hood0169.
2. Remove the turn signal lamp bulb socket
from the headlamp assembly by turning
counterclockwise.
3. Remove the bulb from the bulb socket by pulling it straight out.
4. Install the new bulb in the bulb socket.
5. Install the bulb socket into the headlamp assembly by turning clockwise.
Uplevel Headlamp Assembly
The uplevel model vehicle has halogen
high-beam and low-beam headlamps, an LED
DRL, a parking lamp, an LED sidemarker
lamp, and turn signal lamps on the
headlamp assembly.

Taillamps, Turn Signal,

Base Level Taillamp Assembly
The base model vehicle has a halogen
taillamp/stoplamp, a stoplamp, a turn signal
lamp, a back-up lamp, and a sidemarker
lamp on the taillamp assembly.

4. Remove the old bulb from the bulbsocket by pulling it straight out.
5. Insert a new bulb into the bulb socket.
6. Install the bulb socket into the taillamp asembly.
7. Install the taillamp assembly to the vehicle body with the two screws.
License Plate Lamp
Lamp Assembly
Bulb Assembly To replace one of these bulbs:
1. Push the left end of the lamp assembly toward the right.
2. Turn the lamp assembly down to remove it.
3. Turn the bulb socket (1) counterclockwise to remove it from the lamp assembly (3).
4. Pull the bulb (2) straight out of the bulb socket (1).
5. Push the replacement bulb straight into the bulb socket and turn the bulb socket
clockwise to install it into the lamp
assembly.
6. Turn the lamp assembly into the lamp assembly opening engaging the clip side
first.
7. Push on the lamp side opposite the clip until the lamp assembly snaps into place.
