Exterior Mirrors
Convex Mirrors
{Warning
A convex mirror can make things, like
other vehicles, look farther away than
they really are. If you cut too sharply
into the adjacent lane, you could hit a
vehicle that is driving next to you. Check
the inside mirror or glance over your
shoulder before changing lanes.
The passenger side mirror is convex shaped.
A convex mirror's surface is curved so more
can be seen from the driver seat.
Power Mirrors
To adjust a mirror: 1. Press
}or|to choose the driver or
passenger mirror.
2. Press one of the four arrows on the control pad to move the mirror in the
desired direction.
3. Adjust each outside mirror so that a little of the vehicle and the area behind it can
be seen.
4. Press
}or|again to deselect the
mirror. If you do not deselect the mirror,
the mirror adjustment will turn off after
about one minute.
Lane Change Alert (LCA)
The vehicle may have LCA. See Lane Change
Alert (LCA) 0208.
Side Blind Zone Alert (SBZA)

Folding Mirrors
Manual Folding Mirrors
(If equipped), the mirrors can be folded
inward by hand to prevent damage when
going through tight maneuvers such as an
automatic car wash. Afterward, fold the
mirror outward by hand to return it to the
original position.
Heated Mirrors
K:Press to heat the mirrors.

Head Restraints
Front Seats
{Warning
With head restraints that are not
installed and adjusted properly, there is a
greater chance that occupants will suffer
a neck/spinal injury in a crash. Do not
drive until the head restraints for all
occupants are installed and adjusted
properly.
The vehicle's front seats have adjustable
head restraints in the outboard seating
positions.

The head restraint will fold rearward
automatically.
When an occupant or child restraint is in the
seat, always return the head restraint to the
full upright position. Pull the head restraint
up and forward until it locks into place. Push
and pull on the head restraint to make sure
that it is locked.
Always adjust the head restraint so that the
top of the restraint is at the same height as
the top of the occupant's head.
Rear outboard head restraints are not
removable.
Front Seats
Seat Adjustment
Seat Position
{Warning
You can lose control of the vehicle if you
try to adjust a driver seat while the
vehicle is moving. Adjust the driver seat
only when the vehicle is not moving.
To adjust a manual seat:1. Pull the handle at the front of the seat.
2. Slide the seat to the desired position and release the handle. 3. Try to move the seat back and forth to
be sure it is locked in place.
Height Adjustment
If available, move the lever up or down to
manually raise or lower the seat.
Power Seat Adjustment
{Warning
You can lose control of the vehicle if you
try to adjust a driver seat while the
vehicle is moving. Adjust the driver seat
only when the vehicle is not moving.

{Warning
The power seats will work with the
ignition off. Children could operate the
power seats and be injured. Never leave
children alone in the vehicle.
To adjust the seat:
.Move the seat forward or rearward by
sliding the control forward or rearward.
.Raise or lower the front part of the seat
cushion by moving the front of the
control up or down.
.Raise or lower the entire seat by moving
the rear of the control up or down.To adjust the seatback, see
Reclining
Seatbacks 033.
To adjust the lumbar support, see Lumbar
Adjustment 034.
Reclining Seatbacks
{Warning
If either seatback is not locked, it could
move forward in a sudden stop or crash.
That could cause injury to the person
sitting there. Always push and pull on
the seatbacks to be sure they are locked.
Manual Seat
To recline the seatback:
1. Lift the lever. If necessary, move the seat belt out of the way to access the lever.
2. Move the seatback to the desired position, then release the lever to lock
the seatback in place.
3. Push and pull on the seatback to make sure it is locked.
To return the seatback to an upright
position: 1. Lift the lever fully without applying pressure to the seatback, and the
seatback returns to the upright position.
2. Push and pull on the seatback to make sure it is locked.
{Warning
Sitting in a reclined position when the
vehicle is in motion can be dangerous.
Even when buckled up, the seat belts
cannot do their job.
The shoulder belt will not be against
your body. Instead, it will be in front of
you. In a crash, you could go into it,
receiving neck or other injuries.

The lap belt could go up over your
abdomen. The belt forces would be there,
not at your pelvic bones. This could cause
serious internal injuries.
For proper protection when the vehicle is
in motion, have the seatback upright.
Then sit well back in the seat and wear
the seat belt properly.
Do not have a seatback reclined if the
vehicle is moving.
Power Seat
.Tilt the top of the control rearward to
recline.
.Tilt the top of the control forward to
raise.
Lumbar Adjustment
Press and hold the control forward to
increase or rearward to decrease support.
Heated Front Seats
{Warning
If temperature change or pain to the skin
cannot be felt, the seat heater may cause
burns. To reduce the risk of burns, use
care when using the seat heater,
especially for long periods of time. Do
not place anything on the seat that
insulates against heat, such as a blanket,
cushion, cover, or similar item. This may(Continued)

cause the seat heater to overheat. An
overheated seat heater may cause a burn
or may damage the seat.
If equipped, the controls are on the climate
control panel. The engine must be running
to operate the heated seats.
Press
MorLto heat the driver or
passenger seat cushion and seatback.
Press the control once for the highest
setting. With each press of the control, the
heated seat will change to the next lower setting, and then the off setting. Three
lights indicate the highest setting and one
light the lowest.
The passenger seat may take longer to
heat up.
Remote Start Heated Seats
During a remote start, the heated seats,
if equipped, can be turned on automatically.
When it is cold outside, the heated seats
will turn on. The heated seats are canceled
when the vehicle is turned on.
Press the heated seat button to use the
heated seats after the vehicle is started. The
heated seat indicator lights do not turn on
during a remote start.
The temperature performance of an
unoccupied seat may be reduced. This is
normal.
To enable or disable remote start heated
seats, select Settings > Vehicle > Remote
Lock, Unlock, and Start > Remote Start Auto
Heat Seats > ON or OFF.
Folding Seatback
The front passenger seatback may fold flat.
{Warning
If you fold the seatback forward to carry
longer objects, such as skis, be sure any
such cargo is not near an airbag. In a
crash, an inflating airbag might force that
object toward a person. This could cause
severe injury or even death. Secure
objects away from the area in which an
airbag would inflate.

{Warning
Things you put on this seatback can
strike and injure people in a sudden stop
or turn, or in a crash. Remove or secure
all items before driving.
To fold the seatback: 1. Lower the head restraint all the way. See Head Restraints 030.
2. Move the seat as far back as possible. See Seat Adjustment 032 or
Power Seat Adjustment 032.

76 Storage
To install the cargo cover:1. Connect each end of cover to the pivot supports on the trim panel (2).
2. Reconnect both of the cords to the hooks at the top of the liftgate (1).
Cargo Management System
Sedan Load Floor
Lift the load floor to access the cargo
management system.
After storing items, make sure to properly
secure the load floor.
The cargo management system has an angle
adjustment to secure the load floor while
removing stored items.
Van Load Floor
The van load floor is located behind the
front seats.
Open the rear side door and remove the
floor mat on the load floor.
Pull the handles on the load floor to access
the cargo management system.
After storing items, make sure to properly
secure the load floor.

Controls
Steering Wheel Adjustment
To adjust the steering wheel:1. Pull the lever down.
2. Move the steering wheel up, down, forward, and backward.
3. Pull the lever up to lock the steering wheel in place.
Do not adjust the steering wheel while
driving.
Heated Steering Wheel
(: If equipped with a heated steering
wheel, press to turn on or off. A light near
the button displays when the feature is
turned on.
The steering wheel takes about
three minutes to reach maximum heat.
Automatic Heated Steering Wheel
If equipped with remote start, the heated
steering wheel will turn on automatically
during a remote start along with the heated
seats when it is cold outside. The heated
steering wheel indicator light may come on. If equipped with auto heated seats, the
heated steering wheel will turn on when the
auto heated seat is activated. The heated
steering wheel indicator will display the
state of the steering wheel heat.
Horn
Pressaon the steering wheel pad to
sound the horn.
Windshield Wiper/Washer
Windshield Wiper with Intermittent Wipes
