List or Browse Mode
DuringPlaymode, pressing any of the following buttons
will take you toListmode.Listmode enables you to
scroll through the list of menus and tracks on the iPod\2.
TUNE/SCROLL Knob
In theListmode, the “TUNE/SCROLL” knob functions
in a similar manner as the scroll wheel on the iPod\2.
Turning the “TUNE/SCROLL” knob clockwise (forward)
and counter-clockwise (backward) scrolls through lists,
displaying the track detail on the radio display. Once you
have the track to be played highlighted on the radio
display, press the “TUNE/SCROLL” knob to select and
start playing the track. By turning the “TUNE/SCROLL”
knob fast, you can jump through the list faster. During
fast scroll, you may notice a slight delay in updating the
information on the radio display.
During all List modes, the iPod\2will display all lists in
“wrap-around” mode. So if the track you wish to select isat the bottom of the list, you just turn the “TUNE/
SCROLL” knob backwards (counter-clockwise) to get to
the track faster.
Radio Preset Buttons
In theListmode, the radio preset buttons are used as
shortcuts to the following lists on the iPod\2.
•1 – Playlists
•2 – Artists
•3 – Albums
•4 – Genres
•5 - Audiobooks
•6 – Podcasts
After pressing a preset button, you will see the list you
are in on the top line and the first item in that list on the
second line.

To exit theListmode without selecting a track, press the
same preset button again to go back toPlaymode.
LIST Button
Pressing the “LIST” button will take to the top level
menu of the iPod\2. This takes you to the same top level
menu as on your iPod\2. Turn the “TUNE/SCROLL”
knob to list the top menu item you wish to select and
then press the “TUNE/SCROLL” knob. This will take
you to the next sub menu list item of the iPod\2and you
can follow the same the same steps to go to the desired
track in that list. Not all iPod\2sub menu levels are
available on this system.
MUSIC TYPE Button
The “MUSIC TYPE” button is another shortcut button to
the genre listing on your iPod\2.REMOTE SOUND SYSTEM CONTROLS — IF
EQUIPPED
The remote sound system controls are located on the
surface of the steering wheel at the 3 and 9 o’clock
positions.

WARNING!
To avoid possible personal injury, handle the wheel
covers with care to avoid contact with the metal edges
and retention teeth.
4. Before raising the vehicle, use the lug wrench to
loosen, but not remove, the lug nuts on the wheel with
the flat tire. Turn the lug nuts counter-clockwise one turn
while the wheel is still on the ground.
5. Place the jack underneath the lift area that is closest to
the flat tire. Turn the jack screw clockwise to firmly
engage the jack saddle with the lift area of the sill flange.

6. Raise the vehicle just enough to remove the flat tire
and install the spare tire.
WARNING!
Raising the vehicle higher than necessary can make
the vehicle less stable. It could slip off the jack and
hurt someone near it. Raise the vehicle only enough
to remove the tire.
7. Remove the lug nuts, wheel cover (if equipped), and
tire. Remove the cover by hand. Do not pry it off.
8. Mount the spare tire.
NOTE:For vehicles so equipped, do not attempt to
install a center cap or wheel cover on the compact spare.
However, when reinstalling the road tire, follow the
procedure under “Wheel Cover or Center Cap Installa-
tion” in place of the remaining steps in this procedure.9. Install the lug nuts with the cone shaped end of the
nut toward the wheel. Lightly tighten the lug nuts. To
avoid the risk of forcing the vehicle off the jack, do not
tighten the lug nuts fully until the vehicle is lowered to
the ground.
10. Lower the vehicle to the ground by turning the jack
handle counter-clockwise.
11. Finish tightening the lug nuts. Push down on the
wrench while tightening for increased leverage. Alternate
lug nuts until each nut has been tightened twice. The
correct tightness of each lug nut is 100 ft/lb. (135 N. m).
If in doubt about the correct tightness, have them
checked with a torque wrench by your dealer or at a
service station.
12. Stow the jack, tools, and flat tire. Make sure the base
of the jack faces the rear of the vehicle before tightening
down the fastener.

1. Mount the road tire on the axle. For vehicles equipped
with wheel covers, perform Steps 2 and 3. For vehicles
equipped with center caps, proceed to Step 4.
2. Install two lug nuts on the mounting studs, which are
on each side of the stud that is in alignment with the
valve stem. Install the lug nuts with the cone shaped end
of the nut toward the wheel. Lightly tighten the lug nuts.To avoid the risk of forcing the vehicle off the jack, do not
tighten the lug nuts fully until the vehicle is lowered to
the ground.
3. Align the valve notch in the wheel cover with the
valve stem on the wheel. Install the cover by hand,
snapping the cover over the two lug nuts. Do not use a
hammer or excessive force to install the cover.
4. Install the remaining lug nuts with the cone shaped
end of the nut toward the wheel. Lightly tighten the lug
nuts. To avoid the risk of forcing the vehicle off the jack,
do not tighten the lug nuts fully until the vehicle is
lowered to the ground.
5. Lower the vehicle to the ground by turning the jack
handle counter-clockwise.
6. Finish tightening the lug nuts. Push down on the
wrench while tightening for increased leverage. Alternate
lug nuts until each nut has been tightened twice. The

Low Beam Headlight, High Beam Headlight,
Park/Turn Light, Inner Park Light, and Outer Park
Light – 300 Models
1. Open the hood.
NOTE:Removal of the air cleaner filter housing may be
necessary prior to replacing bulbs in the headlight assem-
bly on the driver side of the vehicle.
2. Twist the appropriate bulb and socket assembly
counter-clockwise, and then pull it out of the headlight
assembly.
3. Disconnect the bulb from the socket assembly and
install the replacement bulb.
4. Reinstall the bulb and socket assembly into the head-
light assembly, and then turn it clockwise.

WARNING!
A transient high tension occurs at the bulb sockets of
High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights when the
headlight switch is turned ON. It may cause serious
electrical shock or electrocution if not serviced prop-
erly. See your authorized dealer for service.
NOTE:On vehicles equipped with High Intensity Dis-
charge Headlights (HID), when the headlights are turned
on, there is a blue hue to the lights. This diminishes and
becomes more white after approximately 10 seconds, as
the system charges.

bly.

9. Disconnect the bulb from the socket assembly and
install the replacement bulb.10. Reinstall the bulb and socket assembly into the tail
light assembly, and then turn it clockwise.
11. Reinstall the tail light assembly, fasteners, electrical
connector, and trunk liner.
12. Close the trunk.
