AdBlue® additive

Filling
Ensure that the vehicle is parked on a flat and  level  surface.
Pour
 the  contents  of  the  container  / Â
bottle
 into  the  dedicated  tank.
After
 filling  the  additive  tank,  observe Â
the
 following  procedure:

Switch on the ignition without
starting.

ait 10 seconds before starting the
engine.

Recommendations on storage
never store containers or bottles of a dBlue® in your vehicle.
Freezing of the AdBlue
® additive

dBlue® freezes at about -11°C (12.2°F)
 and  deteriorates  above  25°C Â
(77°F).
It

recommended  that  containers  and Â
bottles be stored in a cool area and
protected
 from  direct  sunlight.
Under these conditions, the additive
can

kept  for  at  least  a  year.

ECONOMY MODE
after the engine has stopped, with
the  key  in  the  ignition  position,  certain Â
functions (windscreen wiper
, electric
windows,
 courtesy  lamps,  audio Â
equipment,
 etc.)  can  only  be  used  for  a Â
cumulative
 duration  of  thirty  minutes,  to Â
prevent
 discharging  of  the  battery.
Once
 the  thirty  minutes  have  elapsed, Â
the active functions are put on standby
and
 the  battery  warning  lamp  flashes Â
accompanied
 by  a  message  in  the Â
screen.
T
o  resume  the  use  of  these  functions Â
immediately
,  start  the  engine  and  let  it Â
run
 for  a  few  minutes.
The
 time  available  will  then  be  double Â
the
 time  for  which  the  engine  was  left Â
running.
 However,  this  time  will  always Â
be
 between  five  and  thirty  minutes.
A
Â
flat  battery  will  prevent  the Â
engine
 from  starting.

The temporary tyre repair kit consists of a  compressor  and  a  bottle Â
(containing
 a  sealant).
Using the kit
1. Tick the  deflated  wheel  on  the  speed
 limitation  sticker  then  affix Â
the
 sticker  to  the  vehicle's  steering Â
wheel
 to  remind  you  that  a  wheel  is Â
in
 temporary  use.
2.
Clip the bottle
1 on the
compressor 2.
3.
Connect the bottle
1 to the valve of
the
 tyre  to  be  repaired.
4.
Â
T
ake  care  to  unwind  the Â
compressor
 pipe  before  connecting Â
it
 to  the  bottle.
5.
Connect the power lead to one of
the
 vehicle's  12V  sockets.
6.
Â
Switch
 on  the  compressor  by Â
pressing button
A until the tyre
pressure
 reaches  2.0  bars.  If  this Â
pressure cannot be reached, the
tyre
 cannot  be  repaired.
7.
Â
Remove
 and  store  the  compressor.
8.

Drive
 immediately,  for  a  few  miles Â
(kilometres),
 at  reduced  speed, Â
to
 fill  the  puncture.
9.
Â
Adjust
 the  pressure  using  the Â
compressor
 in  accordance  with  the Â
recommendation

for

the

vehicle
Â
and
Â
check
 that  the  leak  is  filled  correctly Â
(no
 further  loss  of  pressure).
10.
Â
Drive
 at  reduced  speed  (50 mph Â
[80
 km/h]). Â
The
 tyre  must  be Â
examined
 and  repaired  by  a Â
specialist
 as  soon  as  possible.

a  plastic  bag,  supplied  in  the  kit,  to  avoid staining your vehicle with traces
of
 fluid.
Warning:
 the  bottle  of  gel  contains Â
ethylene-glycol, a product which
is
 harmful  if  swallowed  and  which Â
causes
 irritation  to  the  eyes.
Keep
 it  out  of  reach  of  children.

 environment,  take  it  to  a  CITROËN Â
dealer or to an specialised waste
disposal
 site.
