Automatic switching off
W h e n t h e l i g h t s s t a l k i s a t " d i p p e d h e a d -
l a m p s o r m a i n b e a m h e a d l a m p s " , i f t h e
ignition switch is at "LOCK" or "ACC" or
i f t h e k e y h a s b e e n r e m o v e d f r o m t h e
i g n i t i o n s w i t c h , t h e l i g h t s s w i t c h o f f a u t o -
m a t i c a l l y when the driver's door is
opened . O n v e h i c l e s w h i c h a r e e q u i p p e d w i t h d a y -
t i m e r u n n i n g l a m p s , t h e d i p p e d b e a m h e a d -
l a m p s c o m e o n w h e n t h e v e h i c l e i s s t a r t e d .
This warning lamp comes on
i n t h e i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l .
T h e i n s t r u m e n t s a n d c o n t r o l s ( i n s t r u -
ment panel, multifunction screen, air
c o n d i t i o n i n g c o n t r o l p a n e l , . . . ) a r e i l l u -
m i n a t e d . T h e s i d e l a m p s a n d t h e d i p p e d b e a m
h e a d l a m p s c o m e o n a u t o m a t i c a l l y , w i t h -
o u t a n y a c t i o n o n t h e p a r t o f t h e d r i v e r ,
if a low level of exterior light is detected
o r i f t h e w i p e r s a r e s w i t c h e d o n .
W h e n t h e l i g h t r e t u r n s t o a s u f fi c i e n t
level or the wipers are switched off, the
l i g h t i n g i s s w i t c h e d o f f a u t o m a t i c a l l y .
T h e s e n s o r i s l o c a t e d a t t h e b a s e o f t h e
w i n d s c r e e n .
