DOOR MIRRORS
Adjustment
The mirrors can be adjusted when the
ignition switch is in the "ON" or "ACC"
p o s i t i o n .
Move control A to the right or to the left
t o s e l e c t t h e c o r r e s p o n d i n g m i r r o r .
Direct control B in all four directions
t o a d j u s t t h e m i r r o r .
W h e n a d j u s t m e n t i s c o m p l e t e , r e t u r n
control A t o t h e c e n t r a l p o s i t i o n . Electric folding/unfolding
- from inside, with the ignition switch
i n t h e " O N " o r " A C C " p o s i t i o n
b y p r e s s i n g t h e c o n t r o l C .
- from inside, with the ignition switch i n t h e " L O C K " p o s i t i o n :
b y p r e s s i n g t h e c o n t r o l C , w i t h i n
30 seconds.
- from outside using the remote control:
b y p r e s s i n g t h e " c l o s e d p a d -
l o c k b u t t o n b r i e fl y 3 t i m e s t o f o l d
them,
b y p r e s s i n g t h e " o p e n p a d l o c k "

The folding and unfolding of the door
m i r r o r s c a n b e c o n fi g u r e d v i a t h e

d e a c t i v a t e d b y a C I T R O Ë N d e a l e r . The mirrors can also be folded
m a n u a l l y .
If you have folded the mirrors
using the control C , you must use
this control to unfold them, otherwise
t h e m i r r o r s w i l l n o t b e l o c k i n p l a c e
c o r r e c t l y .
If you switch the engine off then
re-start it with the mirrors folded, they
will unfold automatically when the
v e h i c l e r e a c h e s 2 0 m p h ( 3 0 k m / h ) .
If the mirrors have been folded manu-
ally or electrically after starting the
engine, they are not unfolded auto-
m a t i c a l l y .
In this case:
Press the control C t o u n f o l d t h e m .

Unfolding the key
First press button A to unfold the
key.
Unlocking the vehicle
Press the open padlock to
unlock the vehicle.
Unlocking using the remote control
REMOTE CONTROL KEY
System which permits central unlock-
ing or locking of the vehicle using the
lock or from a distance. It also folds and
unfolds the mirrors, closes the electric
windows and starts the vehicle, as well
as providing protection against theft.
Locking the vehicle
Unlocking using the key
Turn the key to the right in the driver's
door lock to unlock the vehicle.
Press the closed padlock
to lock the vehicle.
If one of the doors or the tailgate is
still open, the central locking will not
take place.
U n l o c k i n g i s c o n fi r m e d b y t h e i n t e r i o r
lighting which comes on for approxi-
mately 15 seconds and the direction
i n d i c a t o r s w h i c h fl a s h
twice .
If you press the open padlock twice in
succession within 30 seconds after
unlocking the vehicle, the exterior mir-
rors unfold.
Normal locking using the key
Turn the key to the left in the driver's
door lock to lock the vehicle.
L o c k i n g i s c o n fi r m e d b y t h e d i r e c t i o n i n -
dicators which come on
once .
If you press the closed padlock twice
in succession within 30 seconds af-
ter locking the vehicle, the door mirrors
fold.
An extended press on the closed pad-
lock within 30 seconds after locking the
vehicle closes the windows automati-
cally.

Do not throw the remote control batteries away, they contain metals which are harmful to the environment.
Take them to an approved collection point.
Keys
Make a careful note of the number of each key. This number is coded on the label attached to the key.
If the keys are lost, a CITROËN dealer can supply you with ne w keys.
Remote control
The high frequency remote control is a sensitive system; do not o perate it while it is in your pocket as there is a possibility
that it may unlock the vehicle, without you being aware of it.
Do not repeatedly press the buttons of your remote control out of range and out of sight of your vehicle. You run the risk
of stopping it from working.
The remote control does not operate when the key is in the i gnition, even when the ignition is switched off.
Locking the vehicle

DOORS
From outside
After unlocking the vehicle using the
remote control or the key, pull the
door handle. From inside
Pull the front or rear door control to
open the door.
The front passenger door or the rear
d o o r s m u s t fi r s t b e u n l o c k e d m a n u a l l y
using the locking control before being
opened.
Closing
If a door is not closed correctly,
this warning lamp comes on
in the instrument panel screen
until the door concerned is
closed.
Manual centralised control
System which provides full manual
locking or unlocking of the doors and
tailgate from the inside.
Locking
Press the front of button A to lock
the vehicle.
If the driver's door is open when you
operate the central locking from in-
side, all of the doors lock with the ex-
ception of the driver's door.
Unlocking
Press the rear of button A to unlock
the vehicle.
Opening
If the doors are locked, opening the
driver's door does not unlock the
other doors.

Opening

guide the tailgate,
release the handle and press the ex-
terior surface of the tailgate gently to
close it.

ically the driver's door only in the event
of a malfunction of the central locking.
Locking the driver's door
Insert the key in the lock, then turn it
to the left.
Unlocking the driver's door
Insert the key in the lock, then turn it
to the right. Unlocking the front and rear doors
(from inside)
Tilt the interior control B rearwards.
Using the key
Locking the front passenger door
and the rear doors (from inside)
Tilt the interior control B forwards.
The other doors are not unlocked.
