F Lift the protective cover on the (+) terminal.F

onnect one end of the red cable to
the (+) terminal of your discharged
battery A , then the other end to
the (+) terminal of the battery on the
other vehicle B .
Starting using a battery on
another vehicle
F Connect one end of the green or black
cable to the (-) terminal of the battery on
the other vehicle B .

C
onnect the other end the green or black
cable to the earth point C of your vehicle.
Ensure that the electrolyte is not frozen.
Check the electrolyte level and top up
with distilled water if necessary.
For more information on Checking

, refer to the corresponding
section. Check that the battery on the other
vehicle is a 12 V battery.
In the event of a breakdown

Charging the battery using
a battery charger
F Start the other vehicle and wait a few m inutes.

urn the ignition key on your vehicle, until
the "Ready" lamp comes on.

isconnect the cables in the reverse order.
F

efit the battery protective cover and
tighten the fixing screw.
If the "Ready" lamp does not come on, proceed
as follows:

eave the cables connected.
F

R
eturn the ignition switch on your vehicle
to the " LOCK" position.
F

ut the main battery on charge, following
the procedure for normal charging.
F

W
hen the charging warning lamp in
the instrument panel comes on fixed,
disconnect the cables.
F

L
eave the battery on charge for at least
one hour.
F

T
urn the ignition key on your vehicle, until
the "Ready" lamp comes on.
If the problem persists, contact a
CITROËN
dealer or a qualified workshop. F
R emove the protective cover from the
battery.
Ensure that the electrolyte is not frozen.
Check the electrolyte level and top up
with distilled water if necessary.

Changing a fuse
The extraction tweezer is fitted to the back of
the fusebox cover in the dashboard (right-hand
side).
For access:

nclip the cover and remove it completely
by pulling it towards you.

emove the tweezer.
Access to tools
Before changing a fuse, the cause of the failure
must be identified and rectified.

heck that the ignition switch is in the
" LOCK " position.

dentify the failed fuse by checking the
condition of its filament.

lways replace the failed fuse with a fuse
of the same rating.

heck that the number marked on the box,
the rating marked on the top of the fuse
and the tables below all agree. CITROËN will not accept responsibility

In the event of a breakdown

On / Off, volume adjustment.
Selection of the source:
Radio (FM1, FM2), CD, USB, AUX,
Streaming.
Telephone: accept an incoming call.
Telephone, continuous press: end
a call, access the calls log of the
telephone connected.Display the list of stations received,
the CD/USB tracks or folders.
Press and hold: update the list of
stations received. Automatic search for a lower radio
frequency.
Select the previous track for the CD
or USB source.
Navigation in a list.
Press and hold: rewind.Automatic search for a higher radio
frequency.
Select the next track for the CD or
USB source.
Navigation in a list.
Press and hold: fast for ward.
Adjust audio settings: sound
ambience, treble, bass, loudness,
distribution, left /right balance, front /
rear balance, automatic volume. Abandon the current operation.
Go up one level (menu or folder).Select one of the preset radio
stations.
Radio, press and hold: preset a radio
station.
Other than radio: see the
corresponding sections.
Eject CD. Open the main menu.

radio band.
A continuous press on one of the
buttons presets the station being
listened to. The name of the station is
displayed accompanied by an audible
signal to confirm the preset.
Press a button to listen to the
corresponding preset station. Select "Radio"
.
Select "Write freq." .
Press + .
or press - to select the desired
frequency.
Press one of the buttons briefly to
change to the next or previous letter.
A continuous press on LIST
builds
or updates the list of stations; audio
reception is cut momentarily. Press LIST to display the list of
stations received in alphabetical
o r d e r.
Select the desired radio station by
pressing one of the buttons.
Confirm by pressing "OK" .
Confirm with "OK".
The exterior environment (hills, buildings,
tunnel, car park, below ground, etc.) may
prevent reception, even in RDS station
tracking mode. This phenomenon is
normal in the propagation of radio waves
and is in no way indicative of a fault with
the audio system. Press on MENU

Managing calls
In the contextual menu, select "Hang
up" to end the call.
Select " Micro OFF " to switch off the
microphone. Select
"Combined mode " to transfer
the call to the telephone. Press ¯ to display the audio settings
menu.
Press ¯ to go to the next setting.
Select " Micro OFF " to switch the
microphone on again. Select
"Combined mode"


to transfer
the call to the vehicle.
In the contextual menu: From the contextual menu:
In certain cases, the combined mode has
to activated from the telephone.
The Bluetooth connection will be
restored automatically if the ignition
has been switched off, then on again
(depending on the compatibility of the
telephone). The distribution, or spatialisation of sound,
is an audio process which allows the
sound quality to be improved according to
the setting chosen, corresponding to the
position of the listeners in the vehicle.
