Your vehicle has been approved in
accordance with the new ISOFIX
regulation.
T h e r e a r s e a t s a r e fi t t e d w i t h r e g u l a -
tion ISOFIX mountings.
These are three rings for each seat:
- t w o l o w e r r i n g s A , l o c a t e d
between the vehicle's seat back
a n d c u s h i o n ,
- a n u p p e r r i n g B , r e f e r r e d t o a s
t h e T O P T E T H E R , l o c a t e d a t
the rear of the seat back at the
bottom. The
ISOFIX child seats a r e fi t t e d
with two latches and/or a strap which
a r e s e c u r e d e a s i l y o n t h e s e r i n g s ,
indicated by labels or a mark on the
rear seat back panel.

1. Insert the key.
2. Select the "OFF" position.
3. Remove the key in the OFF
position. When the ignition is switched

until the driver fastens their
seat belt.
Above a speed of approximately
1 0 m p h ( 1 5 k m / h ) , t h e w a r n i n g l a m p

Parking brake fi x e d . The parking brake is
applied or not properly
released. Release the parking brake to switch off the warnin
g
lamp, keeping your foot on the brake pedal.
Observe the safety recommendations.
For further information on the parking brake, refer
to the "Safety" section.
STOP fi x e d , a s s o c i a t e d
with another
warning lamp. It is associated with
the engine oil pressure
or the engine coolant
temperature. Stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Park, switch off the ignition and call a CITROËN
d e a l e r o r q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
Engine oil
pressure fi x e d , a s s o c i a t e d
with the STOP warning lamp. The engine oil pressure
is too low. Stop as soon it is safe to do so.
Park, switch off the ignition and contact a
C I T R O Ë N d e a l e r o r a q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
Braking fi x e d .
The braking system

Braking

The anti-lock braking
system has a fault. The vehicle retains conventional braking.
Drive carefully at reduced speed and contact a
C I T R O Ë N d e a l e r o r a q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p w i t h o u t
delay.
Electronic
stability
programme (
ASR
/
ESP
) fi x e d .
The ASR/ESP system is
in action. The system optimises traction and improves
the directional stability of the vehicle.
fi x e d .
The ASR/ESP system
has a fault. Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a
q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
Coolant
temperature fi x e d . The temperature of the
engine coolant is too
high. Stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Wait until the engine has cooled down before
checking up the level; top up if necessary.
If the problem persists, contact a CITROËN
d e a l e r o r q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
Airbags temporarily.
This lamp comes on for
a few seconds when you
turn on the ignition, then
goes off. This lamp should go off when the engine is
started.
If it does not go off, contact a CITROËN dealer
o r a q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
fl a s h i n g . At least one of the
airbags has a fault. The airbags may not be deployed in the event of
a serious impact. Have it checked by a CITROËN
d e a l e r o r a q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .

Deactivating
the passenger's airbag fi x e d . The passenger's airbag
control is set to the
OFF
position.
The passenger's front
airbag is deactivated.
In this case you can
install a "rear facing" child
seat. Set the control to the
ON position to activate the
p a s s e n g e r ' s f r o n t a i r b a g . I n t h i s c a s e , d o n o t fi t a
child seat in the rear-facing position.
Battery
charge fi x e d . The battery charging
circuit has a fault (dirty or
loose terminals, slack or
cut alternator belt, ...). The warning lamp should go off when the engine
is started.
If it does not go off, contact a CITROËN dealer
o r a q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
Electric power
steering fi x e d . The electric power
steering has a fault. Drive carefully at reduced speed.
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or
q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
Driver's
seat belt not fastened
(according to version) fl a s h i n g , t h e n
above 9 mph (15 km/h),
accompanied
by an audible signal. The driver has not
fastened their seat belt.
Pull the strap then insert the tongue in the
buckle.
Emission
control
system fi x e d .
The emission control
system has a fault. This lamp should go off when the engine is
started.
If it does not go off, contact a CITROËN dealer or
a q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p w i t h o u t d e l a y .

It goes off on switching to manual

this indicates a fault with the

ACCESS
FUEL TANK
O p e n t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p .
Insert the key, turn it slightly to the
left then return to the right. The
key returns to its initial position
and the cap is unlocked.
Low fuel level
When the low fuel level
is reached, the last bar
fl a s h e s , a c c o m p a n i e d b y
an audible signal.
You have approximately 5 litres
remaining.
In certain driving conditions and
depending on the engine, the
distance which can be travelled with
the fuel remaining may be less than
30 miles (50 km).
W h e n t h e f r e q u e n c y o f t h e fl a s h i n g
increases, you have approximately
3 litres remaining .
Unscrew the cap and hook it onto
the clip located on the inside of
t h e fl a p .
A l a b e l a f fi x e d o n t h e i n s i d e o f t h e
fl a p r e m i n d s y o u w h i c h t y p e o f f u e l
to use.
W h e n y o u fi l l t h e f u e l t a n k , d o
not continue after the 3rd cut-off
of the pump. This could cause
malfunctions.
Remove the key.
If you run out of fuel, the
emission control system
warning lamp may come on
in the instrument panel. It will
go off automatically after the engine
has been started a few times.
T h e f u e l t a n k m u s t b e fi l l e d
with the engine switched
off .
The capacity of the fuel tank is
approximately 35 litres.
A f t e r fi l l i n g t h e f u e l t a n k , s c r e w
the cap back on fully to the right
u n t i l i t c l i c k s a n d c l o s e t h e fl a p .
