The keys allow you to switch on the ignition and operate the locks on the front doors, the boot, the steering lock and the passenger's front airbag deactivation s witch.

- Insert the  key  in  one  of  the  front  door  lock  b
arrels  and  turn  it  towards  the  rear  of  the Â

ehicle  to  lock  the  door  in  question.

nsert  the  key  in  the  boot  lock  barrel  and Â

urn  it  to  the  right  to  lock  the  boot.-
 I nsert  the  key  in  one  of  the  front  door  lock  b
arrels  and  turn  it  towards  the  front  of  the Â

ehicle  to  unlock  the  door  in  question.

Saving the electronic key
battery
To preserve the battery, it is possible to prevent
the
 electronic  key  working  (no  reception  of Â
r
adio  waves).
When
 this  function  is  activated,  the  "Keyless Â
E
ntry  and  Starting"  system  is  inoperative.
To
 reactivate  the  electronic  key,  press  one  of Â
t
he  buttons  (open  or  closed  padlock).

ress  on  the  open  padlock  twice, Â
w
hile  pressing  on  and  holding Â
t
he  closed  padlock.
Check
 that  the  indicator  lamp  in  the  electronic Â
k
ey  flashes  4  times.

Fitting roof bars
When fitting transverse roof bars, use the accessories  recommended  by  CITROËN  and Â
f
ollow  the  manufacturer's  fitting  instructions.
For
 more  information,  contact  a  CITROËN Â
d
ealer  or  a  qualified  workshop. Please
 refer  to  national  legislation  in Â
o
rder  to  comply  with  the  regulations Â
c
oncerning  the  transportation  of  objects Â
w
hich  are  longer  than  the  vehicle.
Maximum weight authorised on the bars,
for a loading height not exceeding 40 cm
(except bicycle carrier): 40 kg.
If the height exceeds 40 cm, adapt the
speed of the vehicle to the profile of the
road to avoid damaging the roof bars.
Changing a wiperÂ

lade
Removing the front wiper blade
F Raise  the  wiper  arm.
F  R emove  the  wiper  blade,  sliding  it  towards Â
t
he  outside.
Fitting the front wiper blade
F Put the  corresponding  new  wiper  blade  in  p
lace  and  fix  it.
F

F
old  down  the  wiper  arm  carefully.
To conserve the effectiveness of
the
 flat-blade  type  wiper  blades,  we Â

ecommend  that  they  are:

andled  with  care,

leaned  regularly  with  soapy  water,

gainst  the  windscreen,

witch  on  the  ignition. Take
 care,  the  sealant  product  is  h
armful  if  swallowed  and  causes  i
rritation  to  the  eyes.
Keep
 this  product  out  of  the  reach  of Â
c
hildren.
The
 use-by  date  is  marked  on  the Â
c
artridge.
After
 use,  do  not  discard  the Â
c
artridge  by  the  roadside,  take  it  to Â
a
 CITROËN dealer  or  an  authorised Â
w
aste  disposal  site.
Don't
 forget  to  obtain  a  new  sealant Â
c
artridge,  available  from  a  CITROËN Â
d
ealer  or  a  qualified  workshop.
If
 after  around  5  to  7  minutes  the Â
p
ressure  is  not  attained,  this  indicates Â
t
hat  the  tyre  is  not  repairable;  contact Â
a
 CITROËN  dealer  or  a  qualified Â
w
orkshop  for  assistance.
F  S tart  the  compressor  by  placing  the  switch  a
t the "I"
 position  and  leave  it  running  until Â
t
he  tyre  pressure  reaches  2.0  bar.
 T
he  sealant  product  is  injected  into  the  tyre Â
u
nder  pressure;  do  not  disconnect  the  pipe Â
f
rom  the  valve  during  this  operation  (risk  of Â
sp
lashing
 an
d
 s
tains).

Towing the vehicle
F Take the  removable  towing  eye  stowed  in  t
he  tool  box,  under  the  boot  carpet.

ully  screw  in  the  towing  eye.
General recommendations
Observe the legislation in force in your co unt r y.
Ensure
 that  the  weight  of  the  towing Â

ehicle  is  higher  than  that  of  the  towed Â
v
ehicle.
The
 driver  must  remain  at  the  wheel  of Â
t
he  towed  vehicle  and  must  have  a  valid Â
d
riving
 l
icence.
When
 towing  a  vehicle  with  all  four Â
w
heels  on  the  ground,  always  use  an Â
a
pproved  towing  arm;  rope  and  straps Â
ar
e
 p
rohibited.
The
 towing  vehicle  must  move  off  gently.
When
 towing  a  vehicle  with  the  engine Â

ff,  there  is  no  longer  any  power Â
a
ssistance  for  braking  or  steering.
