- approximately 46 litres (Diesel),
- approximately 37 litres (LPG). (depending on version: approximately 30 litres
environ (petrol or Diesel)).

Bonnet Protects the components of the engine and provides access for checking levels.
Opening
)Push the exterior safety catch B
to the left and raise the bonnet.
)Unclip the bonnet stay C
from its housing,
holdin
g it by its foam protection. )Fix the stay in the notch to hold the bonnet open.
)Take the stay out of the support notch.
)Clip the stay in its housing. )Lower the bonnet and release it at the end of its travel. )Pull on the bonnet to check that it is fully
latched.
)Open the front left door.)Pull the interior release lever A
, located at
the bottom of the door aperture.
The location of the interior release lever prevents opening of the bonnet while the front left door is closed.
When the engine is hot, handle the exterior safety catch and the stay with care.
Before doing anything under the bonnet,
switch off the Stop & Star t system toavoid any risk of injury resulting from anautomatic change to START mode.


Closing
To a v o i d d a m aging the electric units,the use of a high pressure jet wash under the bonnet is strictly prohibited.

Running out of fuel
(Diesel)
If your vehicle is fitted with an HDI engine, the fuel system must be primed if you run out of
fuel.
This system consists of a priming pump and a
transparent pipe under the bonnet.
)Fill the fuel tank with at least five litres of
Diesel.)Open the bonnet. )Depending on version, unclip the cover togain access to the priming pump.)Squeeze and release the priming pump
until resistance is felt (could be from thefirst application) and fuel appears in the
transparent pipe with the green connector. )Operate the star ter until the engine star ts.)Depending on version, put the cover back
in position and clip it in place.
)Close the bonnet.

If the engine does not star t at the firstattempt, do not try again. Operate the priming pump again, thenthe starter.

Battery

The battery is located under the bonnet.
To gain access to it: )
open the bonnet using the interior release
lever, then the exterior safety catch, ) secure the bonnet stay,)
lift the plastic cover on the (+) terminal.
