2-position adjustable boot
T h e t w o - p o s i t i o n a d j u s t a b l e b o o t fl o o r
allows you to:
- maximise the volume of the boot,
- partition the boot (stowing the rear shelf...),
- o b t a i n a fl a t fl o o r f r o m t h e b o o t o p e n - ing to the front seats, when the rear
bench seat is in the folded and fully
back position. P l a c i n g t h e a d j u s t a b l e b o o t fl o o r i n
the low position

ing on the strap.

wards and then down, following the

shelf and fragile objects.

Hooks Rear parcel shelf
This consists of three sections.
T h e f r o n t s e c t i o n i s fl e x i b l e , a n d t h e
central and rear sections are rigid.
The rear section is secured to the tail-
gate by two cords.
To remove it from the boot:
unhook the two cords,
gently lift up the cover to remove it
f r o m i t s fi x i n g s ,
remove the cover.
It can be stored under the adjustable
b o o t fl o o r , i f t h i s i s i n i t s h i g h p o s i t i o n .
The hooks can be used to hold shop-
ping bags.

CHANGING A WHEEL
The tools are installed under the boot
fl o o r .
For access to them:
open the boot,
r e m o v e t h e b o o t fl o o r ,
lift up the boot carpet,
r e m o v e t h e b o x c o n t a i n i n g t h e t o o l s ,
r e m o v e t h e p o l y s t y r e n e s t o r a g e b o x . A l l o f t h e s e t o o l s a r e s p e c i fi c t o y o u r
vehicle. Do not use them for other
purposes.

Wheel with trim
When removing the wheel , fi r s t
detach the trim using the wheel-
brace 1 pulling at the valve passage
hole.
W h e n r e fi t t i n g t h e w h e e l , r e fi t t h e
trim starting by placing its notch fac-
ing the valve and press around its
edge with the palm of your hand.
1. Wheelbrace.
For removing the wheel trim and r e m o v i n g t h e w h e e l fi x i n g b o l t s .
2. Jack with integral handle.
For raising the vehicle.
3. "Bolt cover" tool.
For removing the bolt protectors ( c o v e r s ) o n a l l o y w h e e l s .
Procedure for changing a faulty wheel
for the spare wheel using the tools pro-
vided with the vehicle.

Fitting the steel or "space-
saver" type spare wheel
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a l l o y
wheels, it is normal to notice, when
t i g h t e n i n g t h e b o l t s o n fi t t i n g , t h a t
the washers do not come into con-
tact with the steel or "space-saver"
type spare wheel. The wheel is
secured by the conical contact of
each bolt.
Access to the spare wheel
The spare wheel is installed in the boot
u n d e r t h e fl o o r .
According to country, the spare wheel
may be steel or of the "space-saver"
type.
For access to it, refer to the paragraph
"Access to tools" on the previous page.
Taking out the wheel
Unscrew the yellow central bolt, and
remove it.
Raise the spare wheel towards you
from the rear.
Take the wheel out of the boot.
Putting the wheel back in place
Put the wheel back in its housing.
R e fi t t h e y e l l o w c e n t r a l b o l t i n t h e
centre of the wheel.
Tighten fully until the central bolt
clicks to retain the wheel correctly.
P u t t h e p o l y s t y r e n e s t o r a g e b o x
back in place.

Changing foglamp/reversing lamp
bulbs
open the boot,
press on the tabs using 2 screwdrivers,
disconnect the lamp connector,
t u r n t h e b u l b h o l d e r b y a q u a r t e r t u r n ,
remove the bulb and replace it.
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n r e -
verse order. Changing the third brake lamp bulbs
(4 W5W bulbs)
open the boot,
remove the two plugs located on the
boot inner panel,
press on the body of the lamp with
2 screwdrivers to remove it from its
housing,
turn the corresponding bulb-holder
a q u a r t e r t u r n ,
pull the bulb and replace it.
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n r e -
verse order. Changing the number plate lamp
bulbs (W5W)
insert a thin screwdriver into one of
t h e l e n s ’ e x t e r i o r h o l e s ,
push it outwards to unclip,
remove the lens,
pull the bulb and replace it.

verse order.

Interior lighting
Interior lamps (1/W5W)
Detach the cover of the interior lamp 1 with
a thin screwdriver, close to the button, to
access the faulty bulb.
Map reading lamps (2/W5W)
Detach the cover of the interior lamp. To
access the faulty bulb, detach the parti-
tion for the reading lamp 2 concerned,
as necessary. Footwell lamps (W5W)
Unclip the cover using a thin screw-
driver to access the faulty bulb.
Boot lamps (W5W)
Detach the unit by pushing it rear-
wards. Torch (Krypton 3.6V)
Open the tab.
P u s h w i t h a fl a t s c r e w d r i v e r i n t h e
hole under the tab and recover the
bulb unit.
Open the bulb unit fully to change
the bulb.
Door mirror lamps (W5W)
Unclip the cover using a thin screw-
driver to access the faulty bulb.

TOWING THE VEHICLE
Access to the tools Towing your vehicle
On the front bumper, unclip the cover
by pressing at the top left and pull-
ing at the bottom right of the cover.
Screw the towing eye in fully.
Install the towing bar.
S w i t c h o n t h e h a z a r d w a r n i n g l a m p s
on the towed vehicle.
Place the gear lever in neutral.
On the rear bumper, unclip the
cover by pressing at the bottom.
Screw the towing eye in fully.
Install the towing bar.
S w i t c h o n t h e h a z a r d w a r n i n g l a m p s
on the towed vehicle.
Towing another vehicle
The towing eye is installed under the
b o o t fl o o r .
To gain access to it:
open the boot,
r e m o v e t h e a d j u s t a b l e b o o t fl o o r ,
lift up the boot carpet,
remove the towing eye from the tool
holder. When towing with all four wheels
on the ground, always use a towing
bar.
When towing with only two wheels
on the ground, always use profes-
s i o n a l l i f t i n g e q u i p m e n t .
When towing with the engine off,
there is no longer any braking or
steering assistance.
Failure to observe this special con-
dition could result in damage to
certain braking components and
the absence of braking assistance

or for towing another vehicle using a re-
movable towing eye.
