Warning lamps
When the engine is running or the vehicle is
being driven, the switching on of one of the fol-
lowing warning lamps indicates a fault which
requires action on the part of the driver. Any fault resulting in the switching on of a warning lamp must be investigated
further by reading the associated message on the multifunction screen.
If you encounter any problems, do not hesitate to contact a CITROËN dealer.
Warning lamp is on Cause Action/Observations
STOP fi x e d , a s s o c i a t e d
with another
warning lamp,
accompanied by
an audible signal and a message on the screen. It is associated with the
braking system, the power
steering, the engine oil pres-
sure or the engine coolant
temperature.
Stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Park, switch off the ignition and call a CITROËN
dealer.
Service temporarily,
accompanied
by an audible signal and a
message on the multifunction screen. A minor fault has occurred
f o r w h i c h t h e r e i s n o s p e c i fi c
warning lamp. Identify the fault by reading the message shown
on the screen, such as, for example:
- engine oil level,
- screenwash level,
- remote control battery,
- state of the bulbs,
- s a t u r a t i o n o f t h e p a r t i c l e e m i s s i o n fi l t e r ( D i e
s e l ) .
For any other faults, contact a CITROËN dealer.

CHANGING A BULB
Procedure for replacing a faulty bulb
with a new bulb.
1. Direction indicators
(H21W amber).
2. Dipped
beam
headlamps
(H7-55W).
3. Main beam headlamps (H1-55W).
4. Sidelamps
(W5W).
5. Foglamps
(PSX24W).
T h e h e a d l a m p s a r e fi t t e d w i t h p o l y -
carbonate glass with a protective
c o a t i n g :
do not clean them using a dry
or abrasive cloth, nor with a
detergent or solvent product,
use a sponge and soapy water,
when using a high pressure
washer on persistent marks, do
not direct at the lamps or their
outlines for too long, so as not
to damage their protective coat-
ing and seals. Front lamps
Do not touch the bulb directly
w i t h y o u r fi n g e r s , u s e l i n t - f r e e
cloths.
Changing a halogen bulb should
only be done after the headlamp
has been switched off for a few
m i n u t e s ( r i s k o f s e r i o u s b u r n s ) .
It is imperative to use only anti-
u l t r a v i o l e t ( U V ) t y p e b u l b s i n o r d e r
not to damage the headlamp.

Changing direction indicator bulbs
Amber coloured bulbs, such as
the direction indicators, must be
replaced with bulbs of identical
s p e c i fi c a t i o n s a n d c o l o u r .
Remove the plastic protective cover.
Pull the bulb-holder and replace the
bulb.
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n
reverse order.
W h e n r e fi t t i n g , c l o s e t h e p l a s t i c
cover carefully to ensure the sealing
of the headlamp. If either of the direction indicator
w a r n i n g l a m p s i s fl a s h i n g q u i c k l y ,
one of the bulbs is faulty.
Changing main beam headlamp
bulbs
Remove the protective plastic cover
by pulling on the tab.
Disconnect the bulb connector.
Move the springs to release the
bulb.
Remove the bulb and change it.

reverse order.
Changing sidelamp bulbs
Remove the protective plastic cover
by pulling on the tab.
Pull the bulb-holder.
Remove the bulb and replace it.

reverse order.
Changing dipped headlamp bulbs
Remove the protective plastic cover
by pulling on the tab.
T u r n t h e b u l b - h o l d e r b y a q u a r t e r
turn.
Remove the bulb and change it.

reverse order.

Changing integrated direction
indicator side repeaters
Contact a CITROËN dealer to obtain
replacement repeaters.
Insert a screwdriver on the edge of
the repeater.
T i l t t h e s c r e w d r i v e r t o e x t r a c t t h e
repeater and remove it.
Disconnect the repeater connector.
W h e n r e m o v i n g :
- be careful not to damage the paint- work of your vehicle with the screw-
driver,
- do not allow the wire and the connector to slide inside the wing.
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n
reverse order.
I f y o u e x p e r i e n c e a n y d i f fi c u l t y
in replacing bulbs, contact your
CITROËN dealer. Changing front foglamp bulbs
To obtain them, contact your CITROËN
dealer.
Remove the grille located under the
foglamp.
Disconnect the bulb holder connec-
tor, by pressing on the tab.
Remove the bulb-holber by pressing
on the 2 clips (at the top and the
b o t t o m ) .
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n
reverse order.
I f y o u e x p e r i e n c e a n y d i f fi c u l t y
in replacing bulbs, contact your
CITROËN dealer.

bolts,
e x t r a c t t h e l a m p u n i t c a r e f u l l y p u l l -
ing it straight out,
t u r n t h e b u l b h o l d e r a q u a r t e r t u r n ,
remove the faulty bulb and replace
it.
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n
reverse order.

Changing fog/reversing lamp bulbs
open the boot,
press on the tabs using 2 screwdrivers,
disconnect the lamp unit connector,
t u r n t h e b u l b h o l d e r b y a q u a r t e r
turn,
remove the bulb and replace it.
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n
reverse order. Changing the third stop lamp bulbs
(4 x W 5 W bulbs)
open the boot,
remove the two plugs located on the
boot inner panel,
press on the body of the lamp with
2 screwdrivers to remove it from its
housing,
turn the corresponding bulb-holder
a q u a r t e r t u r n ,
pull the bulb and replace it.
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n
reverse order. Changing the number plate lamp
bulbs (W5W)
insert a thin screwdriver into one of
t h e l e n s ' e x t e r i o r h o l e s ,
push it outwards to unclip.
remove the lens.
pull the bulb and replace it.
T o r e fi t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n
reverse order.

Interior lighting
Interior lamps (1/W5W)
Detach the cover of the interior lamp 1
with a thin screwdriver, close to the but-
ton, to access the faulty bulb.
Map reading lamps (2/W5W)
Detach the cover of the interior lamp. To
access the faulty bulb, detach the parti-
tion for the reading lamp 2 concerned,
as necessary. Footwell lamps (W5W)
Unclip the cover using a thin screw-
driver to access the faulty bulb.
Boot lamps (W5W)
Detach the unit by pushing it rear-
wards. Torch (Krypton 3.6 V)
Open the tab.
P u s h w i t h a fl a t s c r e w d r i v e r i n t h e
hole under the tab and recover the
bulb unit.
Open the bulb unit fully to change
the bulb.
Exterior mirror lamps (W5W)
Unclip the cover using a thin screw-
driver to access the faulty bulb.
