Door mirror adjustment
This operates with the ignition on.
From the driver’s seat, select the mirror
by moving the control 1
, to the left or to
the right, then adjust the mirror in the
four directions by moving the control 2

The demisting - defrosting of the mirrors
is linked with that of the rear screen.

FRONT SEATS
Seat consisting of a seat cushion, a seat
back and a head restraint which can all
be adjusted to adapt your position for
ease of driving and comfort.

Raise the control bar and slide the
seat forwards or backwards.

Pull the control lever upwards to
raise or push it downwards to lower,
as many times as necessary, to ob-
tain the position required.

front end of the armrest to release it.

Move it to the low position.

Raise it notch by notch to reach the

To place the armrest in the vertical po-
sition, raise it and push it backwards
beyond the point of resistance.
Head restraint height adjustment

To raise the head restraint, pull it up-
wards.

To remove the head restraint, press

and pull the head restraint
upwards.

To put the head restraint back in
place, engage the head restraint
stems in the openings keeping them
in line with the seat back.

To lower the head restraint, press
the lug A
and the head restraint at
the same time. The head restraint is fi tted with
a frame with notches which pre-
vents it from lowering; this is a
safety device in case of impact.
The adjustment is correct
when the upper edge of the
head restraint is level with the
top of the head.
Never drive with the head re-
straints removed; they must be
in place and adjusted correctly.

Adjust the mirror so that the glass is
directed correctly in the "day" posi-
tion.
As a safety precaution, the mir-
rors must be adjusted to reduce
the "blind spot".
The mirror is fi tted with a night-time anti-
dazzle device.

VISIBILITY
In fog or snow, the sunshine
sensor may detect suffi cient
light. Therefore, the lamps will
not come on automatically.
Do not cover the sunshine sen-
sor, linked with the rain sensor
and located in the centre of the
windscreen behind the rear view
mirror; the associated functions
would no longer be controlled.
Linked with the Guide-me-home
lighting
Association with the automatic illumina-
tion of headlamps provides the guide-me-
home lighting with the following additional
options:
- automatic activation of guide-me-
home lighting when automatic illu-
mination of headlamps is switched
on (in the vehicle parameters of the
multifunction screen confi guration
menu),
-
selection of the duration of maintaining
of the lighting for 15, 30 or 60 seconds
in the vehicle parameters of the mul-
tifunction screen confi guration menu
(except for monochrome screen A
where this is preset).
Operating fault
In the event of a malfunction
of the sunshine sensor, the
lamps come on, this warn-
ing lamp is displayed in the
instrument panel and/or a message ap-
pears in the multifunction screen, ac-
companied by an audible signal.
Contact a CITROËN dealer or a quali-
fi ed workshop.
HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
The initial setting is position "0"
. To avoid causing a nuisance to other
road users, the height of the halogen
headlamps should be adjusted accord-
ing the load in the vehicle.

on, this warning lamp comes on,
either on the instrument panel
or on the seat belt and passen-
ger’s front airbag warning lamp display,
if the driver and/or the front passenger
has not fastened their seat belt.
From approximately 12 mph (20 km/h)
this warning lamp fl ashes for two mi-
nutes accompanied by an audible sig-
nal. Once these two minutes have
elapsed, this warning lamp remains on
until the driver and/or the front passen-
ger fastens their seat belt.

SEAT BELTS
Front seat belts
The front seat belts are fi tted with a pre-
tensioning and force limiting system.
This system improves safety in the front
seats in the event of a front or side im-
pact. Depending on the severity of the
impact, the pretensioning system in-
stantly tightens the seat belts against
the body of the occupants.
The pretensioning seat belts are active
when the ignition is on.
The force limiter reduces the pressure
of the seat belt on the chest of the occu-
pant, so improving their protection.

The rear seats are each fi tted with a
three-point inertia reel seat belt with
force limiter (with the exception of the
rear centre seat).
Locking
When the rear side side belts are not being
used, you can lock them in place. To do so:

Raise the grip A
to its maximum
height.

Pull the strap, then insert the tongue
in the buckle.

Check that the seat belt is fastened
correctly by pulling the strap.
Unfastening

Press the red button on the buckle.

Guide the seat belt as it rolls up.
The corresponding warning lamp 2

comes on in red on the seat belt and
passenger’s front airbag warning lamp
display if the seat belt is not fastened or
is unfastened.
Seat belt unfastened warning lamp
This warning lamp comes on,
either on the instrument panel
or on the seat belt and passen-
ger’s front airbag warning lamp
display, when one or more rear passen-
gers unfasten their seat belt.
From approximately 12 mph (20 km/h), this
warning lamp fl ashes for two minutes accom-
panied by an audible signal of increasing vol-
ume. Once these two minutes have elapsed,
this warning lamp remains on until the one or
more rear passengers fasten their seat belt.
Seat belt unfastened warning lamp

When the ignition is switched on, the cor-
responding warning lamps 4

on in red for approximately 30 seconds, if
the seat belt is not fastened.
When the engine is running or the vehicle
is moving, the corresponding warning lamp

by an audible signal and a message on the
multifunction screen, if a rear passenger
has unfastened their seat belt.
