IDriver’s seat belt fastening

passenger’s airbag
The warning lamp lights up if the driver’s seat belt has not been fastened when the ignition is switched on and between 0 and 20 km/h.
Over 20 km/h, the warning lamp fl a s h e s a c c o m p a n i e d b y a s o u n d signal for approximately 2 minutes. After this it remains lit up.
1. With the ignition off, insert the key in switch A.
2. Turn the key to the «OFF» position, the passenger’s air-bag is deactivated.
3. The front passenger’s airbag deactivation warning lamp, on the instrument panel, lights up when the ignition is switched on.

These warning lamps may be accompanied by a message and/or a sound signal
Engine oil pressure
It comes on for a few sec-onds each time you switch on the ignition.
If this warning lamp comes on, engine running, it tells you that the oil pressure is low.
It is essential to stop the vehicle.
Contact a CITROËN dealer.
Coolant temperature warning lamp
It comes on for a few sec-onds each time you switch on the ignition.
If this warning lamp comes on, engine running, it tells you that the coolant temperature is rising abnormally.
It is essential to stop the vehi-cle.
Check the coolant level.
See “Levels”.

Battery charge
This warning lamp should go out when the engine is running.

With the engine running, the light-ing of this warning lamp indicates that the parking brake is on or not properly released, that the brake fl u i d l e v e l i s l o w o r t h a t t h e b r a k i n g system is malfunctioning.

Driver's seat belt not fastened
This lamp comes on if the LH seat belt is not fastened when the ignition is switched on and while the vehicle is moving at up to a p p r o x . 2 0 k m / h ( 1 2 m p h ) . A b o v e a s p e e d o f 2 0 k m / h , t h e w a r n i n g l a m p fl a s h e s f o r a p p r o x i m a t e l y 1 2 0 s e c -onds. Then it remains on.
SERVICE
This warning lamp remains on for a seri-ous fault. Consult a CITROËN dealer as soon as pos-sible.
This warning lamp remains on only for a short time for faults that are minor. Contact a CITROËN dealer if necessary.
To learn the origin of the corre-sponding alert, refer to the log of alerts (See chapter “Displays Aand C” to chapter “Multifunction displays”).
Fuel low
It comes on for a few sec-onds each time you switch on the ignition.
If the fuel low warning lamp comes on, there remain approx. 4 to 6litres of fuel in the tank.
Depollution system
It remains on until you start the engine.
I f t h i s w a r n i n g l a m p fl a s h e s o r lights up while you are driving, this indicates a problem with the depol-lution system.
Consult a CITROËN dealer as soon as possible.

The RÖMER Duo ISOFIX (1):
T h i s c h i l d s e a t i s a p p r o v e d f o r c h i l d r e n f r o m 9 t o 1 8 k g . I t m u s t b e i n s t a l l e d only in the “forward-facing” position. The use of t he top belt, called Top Tether, is not necessary. If the RÖMER Duo ISOFIX i s installed in a rear only in the “forward-facing” position. The use of the top belt, called Top osition
seat position, the corresponding front seat should be adjusted so that the child’s feet are not touching the front seat backrest.
These child seats can also be installed in seat pos itions that are not equipped with ISOFIX anchorages. In this case, they must be secured to the vehicle seat by means of the vehicle seat belt.

KEY TO THE TABLEU: Seat position suitable for the installation of a universal rear-facing child seat and a universal forward-facing child sea t posi-tion.(a): In the front passenger's seat position, it is imperative to deactivate the front passenger's airbag if you are installing a “rear-fac-ing” child seat there. Otherwise the child risks being killed o r seriously injured should the airbag deploy.

ISOFIX anchoring points and the ISOFIX fastening system
The rear seats of your vehicle are equipped with ISOFIX anchoring p o i n t s . T h e s e c o n s i s t o f 2 r i n g s located between the backrest and t h e v e h i c l e s e a t , a p p r o x . 2 8 c m apart.
ISOFIX child seats are equipped w i t h 2 l a t c h e s w h i c h a r e e a y t o attach to these rings.
Incorrect installation of a child seat in a vehicle compromises protec-tion of the child in the event of a collision.
The ISOFIX system enables you to minimise the risks posed by i n c o r r e c t fi t t i n g . T h e I S O F I X f a s -tening system gives you a con- v e n i e n t , s t r o n g a n d r e l i a b l e fi t t i n g for a child seat in your vehicle.

Only the “forward-facing” position, f o r a c h i l d o f 9 t o 1 8 k g , s h o u l d be used on your vehicle’s ISOFIX anchorages. In this case, adjust the corresponding front seat as far forward as possible.
