Monochrome screen A
This displays the following information:
- time,
- date,
- ambient temperature
(this flashes if there isa risk of ice),
- status of the doors and boot,
- audio sources
(radio, CD...),
- trip computer (refer to the "Instruments andControls" section).
Warning messages (e.g.: "Emission control system faulty") or information messages (e.g.:
"Boot open") may appear temporarily. Thesecan be cleared by pressing the "Back"button.

With the Audio system switched on, once the
"Radio- CD" menu has been selected you canactivate or deactivate the functions linked
with use of the radio (RDS, REG), or the CD(introscan, shuffle, CD repeat).

It displays the following information automatically and directly:

- altitude,
- ambient temperature
(the value displayed
flashes if there is a risk of ice),
- check of the doors,
- warning and vehicle function status messages, displayed temporarily,

- trip computer information (see the "Monitoring" section),
- satellite navigation system information.
Controls
To select one of the applications, from theeMyWay control panel: )

Audio pre-equipment
Your vehicle is equipped with cer tain factory-
fitted audio equipment:
- a dual-function aerial at the rear of the roof,
- a coaxial aerial cable
,
- basic interference suppression,
- cabling for speakers in the front doors and
tweeters in the dashboard,
- cabling for speakers in the rear doors
- a 40 -way connector.
Before installing a radio unit or speakersin your vehicle, you can contact aCITROËN dealer who will give you the par t number for a suitable wiring harness.
Fitting an audio unit
)
Unclip the storage box on each side usinga screwdriver and pull out.
You will then have access to an aerial coaxialcable and a 40 -way connector.
Then refer to the instructions provided with your audio unit.
Fitting speakers
It is possible to fit:
- 165 mm diameter speakers in the front
doors,
-
13 0 mm diameter speakers in the rear
doors,
- 22.5 mm diameter tweeters in the top of the dashboard. The audio unit is
fitted in place of one of the
storage boxes located below the heating and
air conditioning control panel.

Installation of radiocommunicationtransmitters
Before installing any after-market radio communication transmitter, you cancontact a CITROËN dealer for thespecification of transmitters which canbe fitted (frequency, maximum power,aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the VehicleElectromagnetic Compatibility Directive(2004/104/EC).
Depending on the legislation in forcein the country, it may be compulsory to have a high visibility safety vest, warning triangle and spare bulbs andfuses available in the vehicle.
By going to a CITROËN dealer, you can also
obtain cleanin
g and maintenance products (interior and exterior) - including ecologicalproducts in the "TECHNATURE" range - products for topping up (screenwash fluid...),
touch up pens and paint aerosols for the exact
colour of your vehicle, recharges (cartridge for
the temporary puncture repair kit...), ...
The fitting of electrical equipment or accessories which are not recommended by CITROËN may resultin a failure of your vehicle's electronicsystem and excessive electricalconsumption. Please note this precaution. You are advised to contact a CITROËNrepresentative to be shown the range of recommended equipment and accessories.
