QUESTIONANSWER SOLUTION
There is a difference in
sound
Â
quality  between  the Â
d
ifferent  audio  sources. For
optimum  sound  quality,  the  audio  settings  for  Loudness, Â
A
mbience,  Treble,  Bass,  Volume  can  be  adapted  to  the  different Â
s
ound  sources,  which  may  result  in  audible  differences  when Â
c
hanging
 s
ource. Check
that  the  audio  settings  for  Loudness, Â
A
mbience,  Treble,  Bass,  Volume)  are  adapted Â
t
o  the  sources  listened  to.  Adjust  Balance, Â
T
reble,  Bass  to  the  middle  position,  select  the Â
"
None"  musical  ambience  and  set  the  loudness Â
c
orrection  to  the  "Active"  position  in  CD  mode  or Â
t
o  the  "Inactive"  position  in  radio  mode.
With
Â
the  engine  off,  the Â
s
ystem
Â
switches  off  after  a Â
f
ew
Â
minutes  of  use. When
the  engine  is  switched  off,  the  system's  operating  time Â
d
epends  on  the  state  of  charge  of  the  battery.
The
switch-off  is  normal:  the  system  switches  to  economy  mode  and Â
s
witches  off  to  prevent  discharging  of  the  vehicle's  battery.Start
the  vehicle's  engine  to  increase  the  battery Â

Telephone
QUESTIONANSWER SOLUTION
I
Â
cannot  connect  my Â
B
luetooth
 t
elephone. The
telephone's  Bluetooth  function  may  be  switched  off  or  the Â
t
elephone  may  not  be  visible. Check
that  your  telephone's  Bluetooth  function  is Â
s
witched  on.
Check
in  the  telephone  settings  that  it  is  "visible Â
t
o  all".
The
Bluetooth  telephone  is  not  compatible  with  the  system. You
can  check  the  compatibility  of  your Â
t
elephone  at  www.citroen.co.uk  (services).
The
Â
volume  of  the Â
t
elephone connected
in
Â
Bluetooth  mode  is Â
ina
udible. The
volume  depends  both  on  the  system  and  on  the  telephone. Increase  the  volume  of  the  audio  system,  to Â
m
aximum  if  required,  and  increase  the  volume  of Â
t
he  telephone  if  necessary.
The
ambient  noise  level  has  an  influence  on  the  quality  of Â
t
elephone
 c
ommunication. Reduce
the  ambient  noise  level  (close  the Â
w
indows, reduce the booster fan speed, slow
down...).
Some
Â
contacts  are Â
d
uplicated  in  the  list. The
options  for  synchronizing  contacts  are  synchronizing  the Â
c
ontacts  on  the  SIM  card,  the  contacts  on  the  telephone,  or  both. Â
W
hen  both  synchronizations  are  selected,  some  contacts  may  be Â
dup
licated. Select "Display SIM card contacts" or "Display
telephone
 c
ontacts".
Contacts are not shown in
alphabetical
 o
rder. Some
telephones  offer  display  options.  Depending  on  the  settings Â
c
hosen,  contacts  can  be  transferred  in  a  specific  order.Modify
the  display  setting  in  the  telephone Â
d
i r e c to r y.
The
Â
system  does  not
 r
eceive
Â
SMS
Â
text
Â
messages. The
Bluetooth  mode  does  not  permit  sending  SMS  text  messages Â
t
o  the  system.
