Electronic key: Keyless Entryand Starting
This system allows you to lock, unlock andstart the vehicle while keeping the key on your person and in the defined zone.

 This additional exterior and interior lighting, controlled remotely, makes your approach to
the vehicle easier when the light is poor.

  Exterior   
 
Stop & Start function(Auto Stop & Go) 
 This system puts the engine temporarily into standby during stops in the traffic (traffic
lights, traffic jams, etc...). The engine restarts
automaticall
y as soon as you want to move
off. The Stop & Star t system reduces fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, as well asnoise levels when stationary.

 This comes on when the cruisecontrol has been activated.  Press the "ON/OFF" button to activate/deactivate thecruise control.

directional stability of the vehicle.
 Adapt your driving and moderate your speed.

Stop & Star t(Auto Stop & Go)function

ed.   When the vehicle stops (red lights, 
traffic jams, ...) the Stop & Star t (AS&G) function has put the engine 
into STOP mode.   The warnin
g lamp goes off and the engine restarts
automatically in START mode, as soon as you want to move off.

STOP mode is temporarily 
unavailable. or START mode is invoked 
automatically.

Diesel engine pre-heating   fixed.  The engine is cold and:

the ONposition (ignition on), or 
-  the STA R T/STOP 
 starting button 
has been pressed (ignition on).   
With key starting, wait until the warning lamp has gone
off before starting.
  With the Keyless Entry and Starting system, the engine 
will only start after the warning lamp has gone off. 
  The duration for which the warning lamp is on is
determined by the climatic conditions (up to 30 seconds
in severe weather).
  If the engine does not star t, switch the ignition off and
then on again and wait again until the warning lamp goes off, then star t the engine.

You have forgotten to switch off the
vehicle lighting.  Switch off the vehicle lighting by 
placing the control at OFF.  There is an intermittent audible signal.

y for the Keyless Entryand Starting system is flat.   Replace the battery (see "Changingthe batteries").
The electronic key that you have on
your person is not recognised. Check that you have the correct electronic key.   If the message persists, contact a CITROËN dealer.
The electronic ke

vehicle and 
you have tried to lock
the doors or boot from the outside.  Ensure that 
you have the electronic
key on your person before lockingthe vehicle.
One of the doors or the boot is notproperly closed when locking the 
vehicle from the outside.  
Close the door or the boot, then lock 
the vehicle.

g located in the glove box.   Remember to remove the electronickey from the housing after star ting 
the vehicle.

y has not been removed from the housing in the glove box.  Remove the electronic ke

The steering column is locked.  Switch the ignition on and turn the
steering wheel slightly to unlock the 
steering column.
