Disconnecting the battery
In order to maintain an adequate state
of
 charge  for  starting  the  engine,  it  is Â

ecommended that the battery be disconnected
if
 the  vehicle  is  taken  out  of  service  for  a  long Â

eriod.
Before
 disconnecting  the  battery:

lose  all  openings  (doors,  boot,  windows, Â

witch off all electrical consumers (audio
system,
 wipers,  lighting, ...),

witch  off  the  ignition  and  wait  for  four Â

inutes.
At
 the  battery,  detach  just  the  (+)  terminal.Following reconnection of the battery

ermit  initialisation  of  the  electronic  systems. Â
