Indicator and warning lamps
Certain warning lamps may come on in one of two modes: fixed (continuous) or
f
lashing.
Only
by relating the type of illumination
t
o the operation of the vehicle can it
be
determined whether the situation is
n
ormal or a fault has occurred. In the
e
vent of a fault, the illumination of the
w
arning lamp may be accompanied by
a
message.

Visual

When the ignition is switched on
Certain warning lamps come on for a few s econds in the instrument panel when the
v
ehicle's ignition is switched on.
When
the engine is started, these same
w
arning lamps should go off.
If
they remain on, before moving off, refer to the
i
nformation on the warning lamp concerned.
Associated warnings
The switching on of certain warning lamps may be accompanied by an audible signal and a
m
essage.
The
warning lamps may come on continuously
(
fixed) or flash.
The
position of the warning lamps in the
t
ype 2 instrument panel depends on the
c
olour scheme selected.

Automatic
headlamp
dippingfixed.
The lighting control stalk is in the "
AUTO" position, pulled towards

ou, and the function is activated
("D
riving assistance"
menu).
The
system is in dipped beam mode

s there is sufficient ambient light

nd/or the traffic conditions do not

llow illumination of main beam.The
camera, located in the door mirror, manages the o
peration of main beam, depending on the ambient

ighting and driving conditions.

Diesel engine
pre-heating

The "START/STOP " switch has been
pressed
(ignition on).Wait
until the warning lamp goes off before starting.
Once
it goes off, starting is immediate, on condition

hat you maintain pressure on the brake pedal for an

lectronic or automatic gearbox, or the clutch pedal is
p
ressed fully down for a manual gearbox.
The
period of illumination of the warning lamp is

etermined by the ambient conditions (up to about
t
hirty seconds in extreme conditions).
If
the engine does not start, switch the ignition off and
t
hen on, wait until the warning lamp goes off again,
t
hen start the engine.
Blind spot
sensors fixed.
The
blind spot monitoring function

Deactivation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confirms that the corresponding system has been switched off intentionally.
T his is may be accompanied by an audible signal and the display of a message.

Warning lamps
When the engine is running or the vehicle is being driven, illumination of one of the following warning lamps indicates a fault which requires action on the part of the driver.
Any
fault resulting in the illumination of a warning lamp must be investigated further using the associated message.
If
you encounter any problems, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

tank.
You
are then using the fuel reserve.You
must refuel as soon as possible to avoid running o
ut of fuel.

sufficient fuel is added, this warning lamp will

ome on every time the ignition is switched on,

ccompanied by an audible signal and a message.
This
audible signal and message are repeated with
i
ncreasing frequency as the drops towards "0".
Fuel
tank capacity: approximately 57 litres (petrol) or
5
5 litres (Diesel).
Never
continue to drive until you run out of fuel as

his could damage the emission control and injection

ystems.
