Snow chains
In wintry conditions, snow chains improve traction as well as the behaviour of the vehicle when b
raking.
The
 snow  chains  must  be  fitted  only Â
t
o  the  front  wheels.  They  must  never Â
b
e  fitted  to  "space-saver"  type  spare Â
w
heels.
Advice on installation
F If you  have  to  fit  the  chains  during  a  j
ourney,  stop  the  vehicle  on  a  flat  sur face Â
o
n  the  side  of  the  road.

pply  the  parking  brake  and  position  any Â
w
heel  chocks  to  prevent  movement  of  your Â
v
ehicle.

it  the  chains  following  the  instructions Â

rovided  by  the  manufacturer.

ove  off  gently  and  drive  for  a  few Â

oments,  without  exceeding  30  mph Â
