he soft air diffusion grille located in the
centre of the dashboard provides optimum
distribution of the air for the front seats.

his system eliminates unpleasant
air currents while maintaining an
optimum temperature in the passenger
compartment.

o open the soft air diffusion grille, turn the
wheel upwards.
T

o close the soft air diffusion grille, turn the
wheel fully downwards.

n very hot weather, to obtain more
satisfactory central and side ventilation, it
is advisable to close the diffused air grille.

Sun visor
F With the ignition on, lift the flap; the mirror is illuminated automatically.
To prevent dazzle from ahead, fold the visor
downwards.
It can be disengaged from its central fixing and
pivoted over to the side windows if required.
Cooled glove box
F To open the glove box, pull the handle and lower the lid.
The glove box has an air vent B that can be
closed manually.
It has automatic illumination.
It provides access to the dashboard fusebox.
The glove box should be kept closed
while driving.

Changing a fuse
Replacing a fuse
Before replacing a fuse, it is necessary to:
- d etermine the cause of the fault and have it
remedied,

witch off all electric consumers,

ark the vehicle and switch off the ignition,

dentify the failed fuse using the allocation
tables and diagrams presented on the

To replace a fuse, it is essential to:

se the special tweezer 1 , placed on the
cover close to the fuseboxes, to extract
the fuse from its holder and check the
condition of its filament,

a
lways replace a failed fuse by a fuse of
equivalent rating (same colour); a different
rating could cause a fault (risk of fire).
If the fault recurs soon after replacing the
fuse, have the electrical system checked by a
CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop. The replacement of a fuse not
mentioned in the tables below may
cause a serious fault on your vehicle.

On completion, carefully refit the
cover to ensure correct sealing of
the fusebox.
Any work on the MA XI fuses (that
give additional protection), located
in the fuseboxes, must be left to
a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.

Access to the battery
The battery is located under the bonnet.
For access to it:

pen the bonnet using the interior release
lever, then the exterior safety catch,

ecure the bonnet stay,

emove the plastic cover to gain access to
the two terminals,
F

nclip the fusebox to remove the battery,
if
necessary.
The presence of this label, in particular
with the Stop & Start system, indicates
the use of a 12 V lead-acid battery with
special technology and specification;
the involvement of a CITROËN dealer
or a qualified workshop is essential
when replacing or disconnecting the
battery.
After refitting the battery, the Stop &
Start system will only be active after a
continuous period of immobilisation of the
vehicle, a period which depends on the
climatic conditions and the state of charge
of the battery (up to about 8 hours).
Procedure for charging your battery when it is flat or for starting the engine using another battery.

Wi-Fi on board, 230V socket, audio systems,
speakers, semi-integral navigation systems,
portable navigation systems, hands-free kit,
DVD player, USB Box, mapping update CD,
driving aid, Hi-Fi module...The fitting of electrical equipment or
accessories which are not recommended
by CITROËN may result in a failure of
your vehicle's electronic system and
excessive electrical consumption.

for information on the range of
recommended equipment and
accessories.
Installation of radio
communication
transmitters
Before installing any after-market radio
communication transmitter, you can
contact a CITROËN dealer for the
specification of transmitters which can
be fitted (frequency, maximum power,
aerial position, specific installation
requirements), in line with the Vehicle
Electromagnetic Compatibility
Directive (2004/104/EC). Depending on the legislation in force in
the country, certain safety equipment
may be compulsory: high visibility
safety vests, warning triangles,
breathalyzers, spare bulbs, spare fuses,
fire extinguisher, first aid kit, mud flaps
at the rear of the vehicle.
