STEERING WHEEL HEIGHT AND
DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
When the vehicle is stationary, unlock
t h e s t e e r i n g w h e e l b y l o w e r i n g t h e
lever.
A d j u s t t h e h e i g h t a n d d e p t h o f t h e
s t e e r i n g w h e e l , t h e n l o c k b y p u s h i n g
the lever fully upwards.
MANUAL GEARBOX
5-speed gearbox 6-speed gearbox
To change gear easily, always press
the clutch pedal fully.
T o p r e v e n t t h e m a t f r o m b e c o m i n g
caught under the pedal:
- ensure that the mat is positioned correctly,
- n e v e r fi t o n e m a t o n t o p o f a n o t h e r .
When driving, avoid leaving your hand
o n t h e g e a r k n o b a s t h e f o r c e e x e r t e d ,
even if slight, may wear the internal
c o m p o n e n t s o f t h e g e a r b o x o v e r t i m e .
Reverse gear (6-speed)
R a i s e t h e c o l l a r u n d e r t h e g e a r k n o b t o
engage reverse gear.
N e v e r e n g a g e r e v e r s e g e a r b e f o r e t h e
vehicle is completely stationary.
T h e l e v e r s h o u l d b e m o v e d s l o w l y t o
reduce the noise on engaging reverse
gear.

Handbrake
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a
version with a rotating front seat,
t h e h a n d b r a k e c a n b e d i s e n g a g e d .
P u l l i n g t h e h a n d b r a k e t o i m m o b i l i s e
the vehicle then lowering the lever
d o e s n o t r e l e a s e t h e b r a k e , i t p e r m i t s
rotation of the driver's seat.
P u l l t h e b u t t o n p l a c e d a t t h e e n d o f t h e
h a n d b r a k e f o r w a r d s .
T h e h a n d b r a k e l e v e r l o w e r s .
You can now rotate the seat.
To return to normal operation, pull the
lever up until it clicks.
I f t h e h a n d b r a k e i s o n o r h a s
n o t b e e n r e l e a s e d f u l l y , t h i s i s
i n d i c a t e d b y :
- a warning light which comes on on the instrument panel,
- a n a u d i b l e s i g n a l ,
- a message on the display.
Key
Take care not to place the key in
contact with grease, dust, rain or a
damp environment.
A h e a v y o b j e c t a t t a c h e d t o t h e k e y ( k e y
ring, ...) weighing down on the shaft
of the key in the ignition switch may
cause a malfunction.

Turn the key to the
Running position.
In cold weather, wait for this warning
light to switch off then operate the
starter (Starting position) until the
engine starts.
If the temperature is high enough, the
warning light comes on for less than
one second, you can start without
waiting.
Good practice when stopping
Minimise engine and gearbox wear
When switching off the ignition, let the
engine run for a few seconds to allow
t h e t u r b o c h a r g e r t o r e t u r n t o i d l e .
Do not press the accelerator when
switching off the ignition.
There is no need to engage a gear
after parking the vehicle.

FRONT AND/OR REAR
PARKING ASSISTANCE
I f fi t t e d o n y o u r v e h i c l e , t h e s y s t e m i s
audible and/or visual and consists of
four proximity sensors, located in the
f r o n t a n d / o r r e a r b u m p e r . T h e s e n s o r s
detect any obstacle which enters
t h e fi e l d : p e r s o n , v e h i c l e , t r e e , g a t e ,
located in front of or behind the vehicle
d u r i n g t h e m a n o e u v r e .
Objects the size or thickness of which
is detected at the beginning of the
manoeuvre, may no longer be detected
at the end of the manoeuvre: due to
blind spots between and below the
s e n s o r s . E x a m p l e s : s t a k e , r o a d w o r k s
c o n e , k e r b s t o n e .
This system does not take the place of
the vigilance and responsibility of the
d r i v e r .
Switching the system on
The system is activated as soon as:
- reverse gear is engaged,
- the speed falls below 6 mph ( 1 0 k m / h ) i n f o r w a r d g e a r .
This is accompanied by an audible
signal and displaying of the vehicle,
d e p e n d i n g o n t h e d i s p l a y .
The proximity information is given by:
- an audible signal, which becomes more rapid as the vehicle
approaches the obstacle,
- a graphic on the display, with blocks which become progressively
c l o s e r t o t h e v e h i c l e .
The obstacle is located in relation to the
emission of the audible signal from the
s p e a k e r s , f r o n t o r r e a r a n d r i g h t o r l e f t .
Switching the system off
Press the button again to re-activate
t h e s y s t e m . T h e i n d i c a t o r l i g h t o n t h e
b u t t o n s w i t c h e s o f f . In bad or wintry weather, ensure
that the sensors are not covered
w i t h m u d , f r o s t o r s n o w .
I n t h i s c a s e ( e . g . s e n s o r s d i r t y ) , w h e n
reverse gear is engaged, the indicator
l i g h t fl a s h e s , a c c o m p a n i e d b y a n a u d i b l e
s i g n a l a n d a m e s s a g e o n t h e d i s p l a y .

RE-ACTIVATION
When the distance between the vehicle
and the obstacle is less than approximately
thirty centimetres, the audible signal
becomes continuous and the "Danger"
s y m b o l a p p e a r s d e p e n d i n g o n t h e d i s p l a y .
This function will be deactivated
automatically when the vehicle is
towing a trailer or when a bicycle
c a r r i e r i s fi t t e d ( v e h i c l e fi t t e d w i t h
towing attachment or bicycle carrier
