Closing
F Take the stay out of the support notch.

ower the bonnet and release it near the
end of its travel.

ull on the bonnet to check that it has
latched correctly.
The cooling fan may star t after
switching off the engine: take care
with articles and clothing that might be
caught by the fan blades.
Because of the presence of electrical
equipment under the bonnet, it is
recommended that exposure to water
(rain, washing, etc.) be limited.
Engine
Diesel
The Diesel fuel system operates under
high pressure:

system yourself.

Di engines make use of advanced
technology.
Specialist knowledge is needed for any
work on the system, which can only be
assured by CITROËN dealers.
This engine is an example only. The location of the dipstick and engine oil filler cap, as well as the
priming pump may vary.

For the replacement of this type of LED lamp
and light guides, contact a CITROËN dealer or
a qualified workshop.
A replacement kit for the LEDs is available from
CITROËN dealers.
Changing a fuse
Access to the tools
F Unclip the cover by pulling at the top left, then right.

isengage the cover completely and turn it
ove r.

ake the tweezer from its housing.
Changing a fuse
Before changing a fuse, it is necessary to:
F i dentify the cause of the failure and correct
it,
F

s
witch off all electrical consumers,
F

i
mmobilise the vehicle and switch off the
ignition,
F

i
dentify the defective fuse using the
allocation tables and diagrams.
To replace a fuse, you must:
F

u
se the special tweezers to extract the fuse
from its housing and check the condition of
its filament,
F

A
lways replace the defective fuse with a
fuse of the same rating (same colour); using
a different rating could cause faults (risk of
f i r e).
If the fuse fails again soon after replacement,
have the vehicle's electrical system checked by
a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
The extraction tweezer is located behind the
fusebox cover.
