This section describes all of the lighting and wiper controls, headlamp adjustment,  the  various  interior  lamps  including  the  interior  mood  lighting Â

nd  in  particular,  the  LED  lamps,  a  true  signature  of  your  vehicle.

Lighting controlsSystem for selection and control of the various front and rear lamps providing the vehicle's lighting.

Main lighting
Other lamps are installed to fulfil the requirements  of  particular  conditions  of Â

 rear  foglamp  to  be  seen  from  afar,

ront  foglamps  for  improved  vision,
-
Â
L
ED  lamps  to  be  seen  during  the  daytime.
Additional lighting
Various automatic lighting control modes are  also  available  according  to  the  following Â
op
tions:

uide-me-home  lighting,

a
utomatic  illumination  of  headlamps.
Programming
In some weather conditions (e.g. low temperature  or  humidity),  the  presence Â
o
f  misting  on  the  internal  sur face  of  the Â
g
lass  of  the  headlamps  and  rear  lamps Â
i
s  normal;  it  disappears  after  the  lamps Â
h
ave  been  on  for  a  few  minutes.

The lighting is controlled directly by the driver by  means  of  the  ring  A  and  the  stalk  B.

When the ignition is switched off, all o
f  the  lamps  switch  off  automatically, Â

nless  guide-me-home  lighting  is Â

ctivated.
If
 the  lighting  is  switched  on  manually Â
a
fter  switching  off  the  ignition,  there Â
i
s  an  audible  signal  when  a  front  door Â
i
s opened to warn the driver that
they
 have  forgotten  to  switch  off  the Â
v
ehicle's  lighting,  with  the  ignition  off.
In
 good  or  rainy  weather,  by  both  day Â
a
nd  night,  the  front  foglamps  and  the Â
r
ear  foglamp  are  prohibited.  In  these Â
s
ituations,  the  power  of  their  beams Â
m
ay  dazzle  other  drivers.
Do  not  forget  to  switch  off  the  front Â
f
oglamps  and  the  rear  foglamp  when Â
t
hey  are  no  longer  necessary.

The temporary illumination of the dipped beam headlamps  after  the  vehicle's  ignition  has  been Â

witched  off  makes  the  driver's  exit  easier Â

hen  the  light  is  poor.

F With the  ignition  off,  "flash"  the  headlamps  u
sing  the  lighting  stalk.

The manual guide-me-home lighting switches off  automatically  after  a  set  time.

The sidelamps and dipped beam headlamps are  switched  on  automatically,  without  any Â
a
ction on the part of the driver, when a low level
of
 external  light  is  detected  or  in  certain  cases Â
o
f  activation  of  the  windscreen  wipers.
As
 soon  as  the  brightness  returns  to  a Â
s
ufficient level or after the windscreen wipers
are
 switched  off,  the  lamps  are  switched  off Â
au
tomatically.
Automatic illumination of headlamps
Activation
F Turn  ring  to  the  "AUTO" position.  The  a
utomatic  illumination  of  headlamps  is Â
a
ccompanied  by  a  message  in  the  screen.
deactivation
F Turn ring  to  a  position  other  than  "AUTO".  D
eactivation  is  accompanied  by  a  message Â

n  the  screen.
Association with the automatic
"Guide-me-home" lighting
Association with the automatic illumination of headlamps  provides  "guide-me-home"  lighting Â

ith  the  following  additional  options:

election  of  the  lighting  duration  to  15, Â
30 or 60 seconds in the functions that can
be
 set  in  the  vehicle  configuration  menu Â
(
except  in  the  case  of  the  monochrome Â
s
creen  A,  for  which  the  duration  is  set: Â
60 seconds),

a
utomatic  activation  of  "guide-me-home" Â
l
ighting  when  automatic  illumination  of Â

eadlamps  is  in  operation.
Operating fault
In the event of a fault with the
sunshine sensor,  the  lighting Â

this  warning  lamp  is  displayed  in  the Â

nstrument

panel  and/or  a  message  appears  in Â

he

screen,
 accompanied  by  an  audible  signal.

fog  or  snow,  the  sunshine  sensor Â

ay

detect  sufficient  light.  Therefore, Â

he

lighting  will  not  come  on Â

tomatically.
Do not cover the sunshine sensor,
coupled with the rain sensor and
located in the centre of the windscreen
behind
 the  rear  view  mirror;  the Â
a
ssociated  functions  would  no  longer Â
be c
ontrolled.

LED lampsThis daytime lighting, a signature of the vehicle, comprises two sets of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), located  in  vertical  cutouts  below  each  headlamp.
On
 starting  the  vehicle,  in  daylight  the  LED Â
l
amps  come  on  automatically,  if  the  lighting Â
s
talk  is  in  position  "0" or "AUTO" .
If
 the  sidelamps  and  headlamps  are  switched Â
o
n  manually  or  automatically,  the  LED  lamps Â
s
witch  off. For
 countries  where  exterior  lighting  by  day  is Â
n
ot  a  legal  requirement,  you  can  activate  or Â
d
eactivate  the  function  via  the  multifunction Â
s
creen  configuration  menu.
ProgrammingIn countries where it is a legal requirement:

and cannot be deactivated,

n  daylight,  the  sidelamps  and Â

umber  plate  lamps  also  come  on,

Travelling abroad

For motoring in countries that drive on the other s
ide of the road, it is necessary to adapt the
adjustment
 of  the  dipped  beams  so  as  to  not Â

azzle  the  drivers  of  approaching  vehicles.

one  adjuster  per  headlamp).

nsert  a  suitable  allen  key  (not  supplied) Â

nto  the  hexagonal  head  of  the  adjuster.

urn  the  allen  key  half  a  turn  clockwise.
Headlamp adjustment
To avoid causing a nuisance to other road u
sers,  the  height  of  the  headlamps  should  be Â

djusted  in  relation  to  the  load  in  the  vehicle.
