Remote control keySystem which permits central unlocking or locking of the vehicle using the door lock or from a distance. It is also used to locate and start the vehicle, as well  as  providing  protection  against  theft.

Rear screen demist - defrost
The control button is located on the heating or air conditioning system control panel.
Switching on
The rear screen demisting/defrosting can only operate  when  the  engine  is  running.

ear  screen  and  (depending  on  version) Â

he  door  mirrors.  The  indicator  lamp Â
a
ssociated  with  the  button  comes  on.
Switching off
The demisting/defrosting switches off automatically  to  prevent  an  excessive Â
c
onsumption  of  current.
F
Â
I
t  is  possible  to  stop  the  demisting/
defrosting
 operation  before  it  is  switched Â
o
ff  automatically  by  pressing  the  button Â
a
gain.  The  indicator  lamp  associated  with Â
t
he  button  switches  off. Switch
 off  the  demisting/defrosting Â
o
f  the  rear  screen  and  door  mirrors Â
a
s  soon  as  appropriate,  as  reducing  e
lectrical  power  consumption  results  in  r
educed f uel c onsumption.
If the engine is switched off before the d
emisting/defrosting  is  switched  off a

Scented air
freshener
This diffuses a fragrance in the passenger compartment,  by  means  of  the  adjustment  dial Â

 allows  you  to  adjust  the  intensity  of  diffusion Â

f  the  fragrance.

The red line represents a distance of about

 cm  beyond  the  edge  of  your  vehicle's Â
r
ear  bumper.  The  audible  signal  becomes Â
c
ontinuous  from  this  limit.
The
 green  lines  represent  distances  of  about Â
1
 and  2  metres  beyond  the  edge  of  your Â
v
ehicle's  rear  bumper.

LED daytime running lampsThis daytime lighting, a signature of the vehicle, comprises  two  sets  of  light-emitting  diodes Â

LEDs),  located  in  vertical  housings  below  each Â

eadlamp.
On
 starting  the  vehicle,  in  daylight  the  daytime Â

unning  lamps  come  on  automatically,  if  the Â

ighting  stalk  is  in  position  "0" or "AUTO" .
If
 the  sidelamps  and  headlamps  are  switched Â

n  manually  or  automatically,  the  daytime Â

unning  lamps  go  off.

Automatic "gu ide-me-
home" lighting
When the automatic illumination of headlamps f
unctions  is  activated,  if  the  ambient  light  level Â

s  low  the  dipped  beam  headlamps  remain  on Â
w
hen  switching  off  the  ignition.
Settings
Activation and deactivation, as well as the
duration of  the  guide-me-home  lighting  can  be Â
s
et  in  the  vehicle  configuration  menu  (except Â
f
or  the  monochrome  screen  A,  for  which  the Â
d
uration  is  fixed  at  60  seconds).

Operating fault
If an automatic wiping fault occurs, the wipers will  operate  in  intermittent  mode.
Have
 it  checked  by  a  CITROËN  dealer  or  a Â

ualified

orkshop.
To retain the effectiveness of the flat
wiper
 blades,  it  is  advisable  to:

andle  them  with  care,
-
Â
c
lean  them  regularly  using  soapy Â
w
ater,
-
Â
n
ot  use  them  to  hold  a  sheet  of Â
c
ardboard  against  the  windscreen,
-
Â
r
eplace  them  at  the  first  signs  of Â
w
e a r.
Do
 not  cover  the  rain  sensor,  linked Â
w
ith the sunshine sensor and located in
the centre of the windscreen behind the
rear
 view  mirror.
Switch
 off  the  automatic  wiping  when Â
u
sing  an  automatic  car  wash.
In winter, it is advisable to wait until the
windscreen
 is  completely  clear  of  ice Â
b
efore  activating  the  automatic  wiping.This position allows the wiper blades to
be
 lifted  for  winter  parking,  cleaning  or Â
r
eplacement  without  damaging  the  bonnet.
In
 the  minute  following  switching  off  of  the Â
i
gnition,  any  action  on  the  wiper  stalk  positions Â
t
he  wipers  vertically.
To
 park  the  wipers  after  this  has  been  done,
 s
witch  on  the  ignition  and  operate  the  wiper  stalk.
