Automatic adjustment of xenon headlamps
To avoid causing a nuisance to other road
users, the height of the halogen headlampsshould be adjusted according to the load in the
vehicle.0.1 or 2 people in the front seats. -.Intermediate setting. 1. 5 people + maximum authorised load. -.Intermediate setting. 2.
Driver + maximum authorised load. -.Intermediate setting. 3.
5 people + maximum load in the boot.

The initial setting is position "0".
If a fault occurs, this warning lamp is displayedin the instrument panel,
accompanied by an audible signal and a
message in the instrument panel screen.
The s
ystem then places your headlamps in the lowest position.
In order to avoid causing a nuisance to other road users, this system corrects the height of the
xenon headlamps beam automatically and when
stationary, in relation to the load in the vehicle.

If a fault occurs, do not touch the xenonbulbs. Contact a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.

Changing a bulb
Front lamps
Model with xenon headlamps

Model with halogen headlamps

For H7 type bulbs with lugs... take careto observe their correct installationso as to ensure the best lighting performance.

In some weather conditions (e.g. low
temperature or humidity), the presence of misting on the internal surface of theglass of the headlamps and rear lampsis normal; it disappears after the lamps have been on for a few minutes.



Risk of electrocution

Xenon bulbs (D1S-35W) must be replaced by a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.



Before doing any work on your vehicle, switch off the ignition (Readylamp off) to avoid any risk of injury resulting from automatic operation of the engine.

Main beam headlamps (xenonmodel)
) Remove the protective plastic cover by
pulling on the tab. ) Remove the connector with the bulb bypressing on the lug at the bottom.)
Remove the bulb and change it.For reassembly, carry out these operations in reverse order.


The headlamps are fitted with polycarbonate glass with a protectivecoating:)do not clean them using a dry or abrasive cloth, nor with a detergent or solvent product,)
use a sponge and soapy water or apH neutral product,)
when using a high pressure washer on persistent marks, do not keep the lance directed towards thelamps or their edges for too long, so as not to damage their protectivecoating and seals.
Dipped beam headlamps (xenon model)

D1S xenon bulbs must be changedby a CITROËN dealer or a qualifiedworkshop, as there is a risk of electrocution.
It is recommended that the D1S bulbsare changed at the same time when oneof them fails.
Changing a bulb should only be doneafter the headlamp has been switched off for a few minutes (risk of serious burns). )Do not touch the bulb directly withyour fingers, use a lint-free cloth. It is imperative to use only anti-ultraviolet (UV) type bulbs to avoid damaging the headlamp. Always replace a failed bulb with a new bulb with the same type andspecification.

Dipped beam headlamps

Remove the protective plastic cover by
pulling on the tab.

)Remove the protective plastic cover bypulling on the tab. )Remove the connector with the bulb by pressing on the lug at the bottom.)Remove the bulb and change it.For reassembly, carry out these operations in reverse order.

)Press on the top of the connector then pivot the assembly downwards.)Remove the connector with the bulb. )Remove the bulb and change it.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in
reverse order, but engaging the bottom of thebulb first.

Daytime running lamps / sidelamps
For the replacement of this type of LED lamp
and lighting guides, contact a CITROËN dealer
or a qualified workshop.

A replacement kit for the LEDs is available fromCITROËN dealers.
Direction indicators
Faster flashing of a direction indicator warning lamp (left or right) indicates a failed bulb on that side.
The direction indicator bulb is located below the front lamp.) Turn the bulb holder a quar ter turn and pull
it out. ) Remove the bulb and change it.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in
reverse order.
You can also contact a CITROËN dealer or a
qualified workshop for the replacement of these bulbs.

Front foglamps
)Remove the deflector under the body.)Disconnect the bulb connector.
)Turn the bulb a quarter of a turn, withdraw and change it.

To replace these bulbs you may also contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

Integrated direction indicator

Door mirror spotlamps

qualified workshop for the replacement of the light emitting diode - LED.

Rear lamps
Direction indicators and brakelamps (on the wings)
) Open the boot then remove the accesscover.)
Disconnect the lamp connector. )
Remove the two lamp fixing nuts.
)
Carefully remove the lamp unit from
outside. The retaining clips unclip
automatically.
) Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a turn andchange the bulb.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in
reverse order.


Changing the light emitting diode-LED lamps

For replacement, contact a CITROËN dealer or qualified workshop.

Reversing lamp (tailgate)
)Open the tailgate.)Unclip the skir t of the lamp.)Remove the access cover and the lamp fixing nut.
) Carefully remove the lamp from theoutside. The retaining clips unclip
automatically.) Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a turn and
replace the bulb.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in reverse order.
Foglamp
Access is by passing a hand under the bumper. )Turn the bulb holder a quar ter of a turn andpull it out. )Change the bulb.

) Insert a thin screwdriver into the slot in thelens. )
Push it outwards to unclip it. )
