M o d e : selection with displaying of the TRIP, TEL, NAV or AUDIO mode chosen. D a r k : hide the screen display, until completely black, by successive presses. Pressing again reactivates the display.
Reinitialisation of the system.
B a n d : selection of the FM1, FM2, FMast, AM wavebands. T A : T A T r a f fi c A n n o u n c e m e n t s f u n c t i o n o n / o f f . P T Y : Types of Programme function on/off by means of a lo ng press.
Alpha-numeric telephone keypad for the same uses, dial, call, hang up, enter. L i o n : Direct access to the "CITROËN" services. E S C : clears the current selection. Return to the previous selection.
M e n u : displays the general screen. Sound settings.
L i s t : displays the list of radio stations received, the list of CD tracks or MP3/USB/Jukebox directories. Updating of the stations received.
Navigator which selects the choices above or the step by step or rapidadvances.

If another source is being played, press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select USB to play it.
Press one of the buttons to select a track on the USB stick. Press the LIST button to display the list of folders on the MP3 USB stick.
To eject the USB stick, use the short-cut menu (press OK) or press the MENU button, select AUDIO FUNCTIONS, USB, then select EJECT USB. The playing and displaying of an MP3 compilation may depend on the parameters programme used.

Press the end of the lights stalk to start the voice recognition. Say the words one by one and wait for the audible c o n fi r m a t i o n s i g n a l b e t w e e n e a c h w o r d . The list which follows is exhaustive.

The system puts together playlists (temporary memory) created over a period which depends on the capacity of the USB e quipment. The other sources are available during this time. The playlists are updated each time the ignition is switched off or each time a USB memory stick is connected. W h e n c o n n e c t i n g f o r t h e fi r s t t i m e , t h e c l a s s i fi c a t i o n s u g g e s t e d i s b y f o l d e r . W h e n y o u r e c o n n e c t , t h e c l a s s i fi c a t i o n s e l e c t e d p r e v i o u s l y i s retained.
Connect the memory stick to the port, directly or using a lead. If the audio equipment is switched on, the USB source is detected as soon as it is connected. Play begins automatically after a delay which depends on the capacity of the USB stick. T h e fi l e f o r m a t s r e c o g n i s e d a r e . m p 3 ( m p e g 1 layer 3 only), .wma (standard 9 only,128 kbits/sec compression), .wav and .ogg. The playlists types accepted are m3u, .pls, .wpl.
This unit consists of a USB port and a Jack s o c k e t * . T h e a u d i o fi l e s a r e t r a n s m i t t e d f r o m portable equipment such as a digital player or a USB memory stick to your Audio system to be listened to via the vehicle's speakers.
USB key (1.1, 1.2 and 2.0) or Ipod ® of generation ®
5 or later: - USB memory sticks should be formatted FAT or FAT 32 (NTFS not supported), - the Ipod ® lead is essential, ®
