Installation of radiocommunication
transmitters
Before installing accessory
radiocommunication transmitters with an
external aerial on your vehicle, you are
advised to contact a representative of the
CITROËN marque. The CITROËN Network will inform you of the
specifications (frequency band, maximum
output power, aerial position, specific
installation conditions) of the transmitters
which can be fitted, in accordance with the
Motor Vehicle Electromagnetic Compatibility
Directive (2004/104/CE).

spoilers, sill, ...
Screenwash, interior and exterior cleaning
and maintenance products, replacement
bulbs, ...
Audio equipment, hands-free kit, speakers,
CD changer, navigation, ...
Regardless of the audio and telematic
equipment offered on the market, the
technical constraints linked with the
fitting of equipment of these families of
products mean that the special features
of the equipment and its compatibility with
the capacities of your vehicle's standard
equipment must be taken into account.
Please contact a CITROËN dealer for
information before fitting such equipment.
Another range is also available, structured
around comfort, leisure and maintenance:
Anti-theft alarm, window engraving, first aid
kit, high visibility safety jacket, rear parking
assistance, warning triangle, ...
Front seat covers compatible with airbags,
benches, rubber mats, carpet mats, boot
tray, roof bars, side blinds, snow chains.
To prevent the mat from becoming caught
under the pedals:
- ensure that the mat and its fixings are
positioned correctly,
- never fit one mat on top of another. The fitting of electrical equipment
or accessories which are not
recommended by CITROËN may result in a
failure of your vehicle's electronic system.
Please note this specific warning. You
are advised to contact a representative
of the Marque to be shown the range of
recommended equipment and accessories.
Depending on the country in which the
vehicle is sold or operated, it is compulsory
to have a high visibility safety jacket,
warning triangle and replacement bulbs
available in the vehicle.

M o d e : selection with displaying of the TRIP, TEL, NAV or AUDIO mode chosen. D a r k : hide the screen display, until completely black, by successive presses. Pressing again reactivates the display.
Reinitialisation of the system.
B a n d : selection of the FM1, FM2, FMast, AM wavebands. T A : T A T r a f fi c A n n o u n c e m e n t s f u n c t i o n o n / o f f . P T Y : Types of Programme function on/off by means of a lo ng press.
Alpha-numeric telephone keypad for the same uses, dial, call, hang up, enter. L i o n : Direct access to the "CITROËN" services. E S C : clears the current selection. Return to the previous selection.
M e n u : displays the general screen. Sound settings.
L i s t : displays the list of radio stations received, the list of CD tracks or MP3/USB/Jukebox directories. Updating of the stations received.
Navigator which selects the choices above or the step by step or rapidadvances.

A long press is required.

RADIO: selection of the previous stored station. MP3/USB/JUKEBOX: selection of the previous directory. CD CHANGER: selection of the previous CD. Selection of the previous item on a menu.
RADIO: selection of the next stored station. MP3/USB/JUKEBOX: selection of the next directory. CD CHANGER: selection of the next CD. Selection of the next item on a menu.
RADIO: automatic search for a higher frequency. CD/MP3/USB/JUKEBOX/CD CHANGER: selection of the next track. CD/USB/CD CHANGER: continuous press: fast forwards play.

CD CHANGER
On a single slot changer (MP3 compatible), press LOAD, select the number of the CD, then insert the CD, or press and hold LOAD and insert the CDs one by one.
Press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select CD CHANGER.
Press one of the buttons on the alphanumeric keypad to select the corresponding CD.
Press one of the buttons to select a track on the CD.

CD CHANGER
PLAYING A CD
Press the MENU button then select the CONFIGURATIO N function, then SOUNDS, then ACTIVATE AUXILIARY SOURCE to acti vate the audio equipment auxiliary input.
Connect the portable equipment (MP3 player…) to the JACK socket or to the audio sockets (white and red, RCA type) located in the glove box using a suitable cable.
Press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select AUX.
The displaying and management of the commands take s place via the portable equipment.

Press the end of the lights stalk to start the voice recognition. Say the words one by one and wait for the audible c o n fi r m a t i o n s i g n a l b e t w e e n e a c h w o r d . The list which follows is exhaustive.
To display the list of available voice commands, p ress the end of the lights stalk to start the voice recognition, then say HELP or WHAT CAN I SAY.

There is a difference in sound quality between the different audio sources (radio, CD, CD changer...).
Check that the audio settings (Volume, Bass, Treble, Ambience, Loudness) are adapted to the sources listened to. It is advisable to set the AUDIO functions (Bass, Treble, Front-Rear Balance, Left-Right Balance) to the middle position, select the musical ambience "None" and set the loudness correction to the "Active" position in CD mode or to the "Inactive" position in radio mode.
For optimum sound quality, the audio settings (Volume, Bass, Treble, Ambience, Loudness) can be adapted to the different sound sources, which may result in audible differences when changing source (radio, CD, CD changer...).
The CD is ejected automatically or is not played by the player.
- Check that the CD is inserted in the player the right way up. - Check the condition of the CD: the CD cannot be played if it is too damaged. - Check the content in the case of a recorded CD: consult the advice in the "Audio" section. - The audio equipment's CD player does not play DVDs. - Due to inadequate quality, certain recorded CDs will not be played by the audio system. - The CD changer does not play MP3 CDs.
The CD is inserted upside down, is unplayable, doe s not contain any audio data or contains an audio format which the player cannot play. The CD is protected by an anti-pirating protection system which is not recognised by the audio equipment.
The CD player sound is poor. Insert good quality CDs and store them in suitable conditions. The CD used is scratched or of poor quality.
The audio equipment settings (bass, treble, ambien ces) are unsuitable. Set the treble or bass level to 0, without selecting an ambience.
