Emission

The
ignition
timing
should
be
set
and
the
idling
speed
mixture
adjusted
in
the
folloWing
manner
Run
the
engine
until
it
reaches
its
normal
operating
tem
perature
Connect
an
ignition
tachometer
and
timing
light
observ
ing
the
manufacturers
instructions
NOTE
If
the
vehicle
is
equipped
with
automatic
transmission
make
sure
that
the
dashpot
does
not
prevent
the
throttle
from
closing
Turn
the
throttle
shaft
arm
adjusting
screw

clock
wise
so
that
the
tip
of
the
screw
is
clear
of
the
throttle
shaft
arm
