By pressing the SEEK button when the PTY icon is
displayed, the radio will be tuned to the next frequency
station with the same selected PTY name. The PTY
function only operates when in the FM and Satellite (if
equipped) modes.

Temperature Control
Use this control to regulate the tem-
perature of the air inside the passen-
ger compartment. The blue area of the
control indicates cooler temperatures
while the red area indicates warmer
temperatures.
Mode Control
Use this control to select the direction
of air flow.
NOTE:The dot between the mode control icons is a mix
position between the two modes.The mode settings are as follows:
•Recirculation Control
Air is recirculated inside the vehicle. You may
choose between Bi-Level and Panel air outlets
while in this mode. Use this mode to tempo-
rarily block out any outside odors, smoke, or
dust and to cool the interior rapidly upon initial start up
in very hot or humid weather.
•Panel
Air is directed through the outlets in the instrument
panel. These outlets can be adjusted to direct air
flow.
•Bi-Level
Air is directed through the instrument panel and
floor outlets. A small amount of air is also directed
through the defrost outlets.

The Power Distribution Center is located in the engine
compartment on the driver’s side of the vehicle. This
center contains fuses and relays.

NOTE:Upon turning the High Intensity Discharge
(HID) Headlights on, there is a blue hue to the lamps.
This diminishes and becomes more white after approxi-
mately 10 seconds as the system charges.BULB REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the push pin from the upper outer corner of
the splash shield and remove the splash shield.

WARNING!
A transient high tension occurs at the bulb sockets of
High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights when the
HEADLIGHT switch is turned ON. It may cause
serious electrical shock or electrocution if not ser-
viced properly. See your authorized dealer for ser-
vice.
NOTE:
•When the High Intensity Discharge Headlights (HID)
are turned on, there is a blue hue to the lights. This
diminishes and becomes more white after approxi-
mately 10 seconds as the system charges.
•If High Intensity Discharge (HID) lights are not work-
ing, cycle the HEADLIGHT switch four times to see if
it will restrike.
Front Fog Light
